So the Palin groupies say John McCain makes excellent choices and should be trusted to continue making good choices not only for his campaign but for the entire country.

So I assume the groupies will all have to about face now since those other wonderful choices of McCain''s - his campaign aids - are now telling the world that Sarah''s a Diva gone rogue. This isn''t the evil Obama campaign saying these things, it''s McCain''s campaign people. McCain makes good choices, so you gotta believe it. What a pity.

I am sure that Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama have spent NO money on clothes. They were all purchased at Kmart and WalMart to keep costs down (HA HA YEAH RIGHT)

The issue about her clothes is that that was money donated to promote the campaign not to go clothes shopping. I am sure as Governor she makes enough to buy her own clothes. Once a person makes it rich they can spend their own money any which legal way they choose but this was arrogance. The GOP did not even consider the statement they were making by their actions when spending the hard earned money of the donations made by their supporters.

I''m a public school teacher- you know, Joe six pack/teacher guy- and I won''t see $150,000 in three years. It''s an insult to tell me that Sarah Palin and John McCain are championing me and my economic problems when they throw $150K around on clothes for a 6 week campaign. I really used to respect McCAin for his military service but the past 6 weeks have shown some serious problems with his judgement.

Seems to me this story gives Palin a chance to set the record straight. But anyone who is foolish enough to think McCain or Palin is like the average American is really out there. McCain gets a pension from the Navy of approx. $50,000.00 a year, plus his Senate pay and plus his marriage to a beer heiress makes McCain in the very elite rich class. He really has no clue how average people live. He really has no clue how harmful the policies and actions of the Bush administration that he supported havd had on America. The man is clueless and he does not deserve to be president of our country.

Really? "Obamabots" and "Obama is an Anti-American"? Do you have any idea what you''re talking about? Or, do you just see/think in absolutes?

After 8 long years of lies, deceit, and hypocrisy why do you feel it is biased if more are uncovered? If Palin/McCain were really "Joe-the-Plummers" (or "real Americans" as Palin claims) they would realize that the last thing charity organizations need are $150,000 in designer clothes. "Real Americans"--or struggling Americans, like me, need affordable FOOD, energy, jobs, health insurance, education, roads, bridges, and a roof over our heads. I live paycheck to paycheck but I scrapped together $55 for Obama....for the love of god do you really want our country to get worse?

It''s amazing that CBS is still claiming to be journalists. If they even had some objectivity, they would seriously look into the donation fraud being perpetuated by the Obama campaign. Then, they would ask themselves why Joe Biden is afraid of a tough interview. And, if they really had balls and/or objectivity, they would ask some tough questions of the Obama/Biden campaign.

But no, they have to look at clothes that do not belong to Palin. I''m beginning to think the media understands that Obama/Biden have something to hide and they are afraid to expose their true beliefs.

Stay classy CBS.

This is one of the most distasteful stories I''ve seen in a long time. To lower yourself in asking how much Gov. Palin spends at a thrift store is none of your business. I just lost all respect for you and this show to stoop this low.

Gov. Palin is NOT against civil unions and all the rights accorded to that relationship. She has said so and it is backed up by her stance in office.

OBAMA HOWEVER... has PUBLICLY said is, as well as Palin, is AGAINST GAY MARRIAGE....

OBAMA stated he is AGAINST GAY MARRIAGE... what?
you don''t believe him? He is just lying to the public until he gets into office????

I guess at this point OBAMABOTS don''t really care about Obama''s voting record, accomplishments or lack thereof.

I true CULT of Personality in which truths and evidence no longer mean anything.

THANK YOU CBS for serving the public and upholding your journalistic standards with integrity and honor.....
..oh wait. DAN RATHER.

Good thing McCain''s website is on the ball and can trace those many donations back to one individual called "No Name".

I must have missed it so can you please tell me where I can see Sarah Palin and John McCain''s birth certificates and college records? Though that would be an awful lot of different college records to read on the intellectual governor.

Words and phrases I never want to hear after next week:
FIRST AND FOREMOST: Sarah and Palin

Joe The Plumber; Joe Six Pack; Maverick; I will make them famous, you will know their names; betcha, gotcha, gonna; hockey mom. There just isn''t enough space for all the Palisms I never want to hear again.

Oh, almost forgot all those silly, cartoon character names she gave her poor kids.

Eight more days of the verbal beating of that poor old Republican horse. Every day, same rhetorical banter - nothing fresh, nothing new.

I don''t think the issue with this story is so much with Palin herself as it is with Republicans in general. They think that it''s perfectly okay to talk about representing "Joe-Six-Pack" and then spend this kind of money on just clothes. I consider myself to be middle-class, a working man, and I would never spend that much on clothes or anything short of a house. Even if Palin didn''t wear or returned ALL of it... the mere fact that the campaign thought that it was something that she needed says what I need to hear about how the McCain campaign''s values are. Not to mention the fact that Palin''s make-up artist/hairdresser person was the highest paid staffer. Again... even if Palin didn''t want that person, the McCain campaign saw fit to hire that person.
