If Obama wanted to emulate McCain''s attack ads, we would hear robocalls in the Heartland informing America''s patriots that McCain:

a) was in the pocket of former Lincoln Savings & Loan president and convicted criminal Charles Keating;

b) was buddies with fellow convicted criminal Republicans Ted Stevens, Tom Delay, Scooter Libby, Bob Allen, Trent Lott, Jack Abramoff, Don Young, Larry Craig, Randy %u201CDuke%u201D Cunningham, Tom Feeney, Alberto Gonzoles, Bob Ney, Rick Renzi, Richard Curtis, Steven Griles, Mark Foley...etc;

c) accepted political donations from the Watergate convicted criminal G. Gordon Liddy;

d) picked a runningmate mired in scandal (Troopergate) and has acted "unethical" according to her own people - - and doctored expense reports to bilk her taxpayers;

e) gave up information to his communist captors in North Vietnam, whereas other American prisoners did NOT;

McCain has a lot to answer for. You can%u2019t call yourself a patriot while voting for criminals.

so it''s ok to keep spending more and more on wars, now probably adding Syria to the list, but it''s a problem to spend money on the citizens here at home?

"You act like three percent will put you in the poor house"
_______________________________

Let''s try this reduce the spending of money WE DO NOT HAVE, then we sould consider raising taxes. Do you go keep spending moeny you really don''t have and put it on credit. I don''t and I doubt you do either. So why should the govt keep spending and spending. BO has said he will increase spending and fiscally it can''t be paid for by a "95% tax cut" and at the same time raising the taxes on the rich "3%". You are going to tell me we are supposedly going to have "free" health care for all and everything else he is promissing on a 3% tax increase, the math does not work out. There is a truism behind "tax and spend democrats"

NO executive experience, community organizer, just four years as a senator, two of which have been spent campaigning, 130 present votes and only 3 bills that have been passed. Are you people kidding me?

So we are supposed to feel bad that Obama doesn''t have history with the Keating Five, and doesn''t have 26 years of history working hand in hand with the Republican Party and Republican Presidents to get this nation to the state of near-ruin where we find ourselves now?

Give us a break...being forced to watch the Republicans works so hard and so successfully to destroy our country for these last 28 years is PRECISELY why we want the change that Obama represents.

You Republicans have nobody to blame but yourselves...being wealthy wasn''t good enough - you HAD to get ever wealthier, ever faster - until you broke America.

Get your greed under control, and get back to us...in, say, 16 years.

Ya know with the Republicans being the kind of people that they are, there is a REAL good chance whoever purchased the clothes bought Chinese knock-offs and then billed for the real thing.

I''ve never seen such a bunch of drama queens in my life. You people are screaming like a pig caught in a barbed wire fence. Nobody''s going to take all your money. Get real. If you do make enough that your taxes will go up we''re talking about 3 per cent. 3 PER CENT! You act like three percent will put you in the poor house. And you keep saying that all your money will be given to people who are lazy and refuse to work. You need to do a reality check. There are millions of people out there working two jobs, some three jobs, to make ends meet. These are not lazy slobs who want a free ride. These are Americans who have had their good jobs jerked away from them and sent to a foreign country where the very people you are whining for employ slave labor. And what is left for the Americans whose jobs are gone? Seven and eight dollar an hour jobs that don''t provide enough to pay the rent and put food on the table for their kids. And you are whining because you''re going to have to pay an additional 3 percent on income OVER the 250K you are already making. If you make 300K that means you''re going to have to pay an additional 1500 dollars. God you are a bunch of greedy b a s t a r d s. And the additional money will go to help pay a massive debt that the great george bush has run up. And to pay the 10 million a month for the war he started. And hopefully there will be some money to spend on education and health care. 3 fvcking percent and you squeel like babies. Some fine Americans you are.

What is also funny is seeing these news makers at the top of the web page with smiles and then seeing another piece like this. REal journalism, real news. LOL. I wouldn''t dare be associated with this trash and call myself a "professional journalist." There is a reason they call it "old media," becasue it''s a dying breed.

I hope she sells the clothes on ebay and gives the money to help children with Downsyndrome. Even if she just gives the clothes to a charity, she is being more of a steward of donator''''s funds than Obama. Obama has used three times the money to give to ACORN, but media would like to take the spotlight off Obama and focus it on Palin.

the first thing to be sold should be that Louis Vuitton handbag that her 7 year old supposedly sports. Supposedly because the bag is a grown up''s bag and sells for over 1000.00. No responsible person would buy a kid a grown up woman''s handbag on anyone''s dime. Then again, no person with any amount of decency and self respect, would have a son who is such a juvenile that they have to join the miltary or else and have a daughter who is a drop out and supposedly an unwed mother with a drop out boy friend. The woman has a poor grip on family values and on raising kids. And family values does not stop with just getting her spawn here on earth--there is a helluva lot more that goes into raising kids and Palin appears to have missed that boat too.

Be careful what you wish for for someday you may be silenced for you opinion, and the media will let it happen. Right before your eyes.

Speaking of "silenced for your opinion":

[bq]
Jim Nuzzo, a White House aide to the first President Bush, dismissed Mrs Palin''s critics as "cocktail party conservatives" who "give aid and comfort to the enemy".

He told The Sunday Telegraph: "There''s going to be a bloodbath. A lot of people are going to be excommunicated. David Brooks and David Frum and Peggy Noonan are dead people in the Republican Party. The litmus test will be: where did you stand on Palin?"
[eq]

The Republicans have already started silencing those who disagree with them.

lolll...protectors of democracy, the Republicans are not.

What is ridiculas is the the time and money spent on Palin by the MSM trying to destroy her , yet these same "journalist" have yet to ask any substantial questions of either Barry or Joe the Gaffer. The media on this clothing subject alone as spent more time on "reporting" than they have vetting Obama. Some of you wish Joe the Gaffer would shut up with the foot in mouth disorder, but in reality it is not foot in mouth disorder. It is a real perspective of how these two want to run a country and take govt control of your money they did not(key word here) EARN. Yet Obama could not pass an FBI check, and the media just looks past it. You people need to wake up. These two and many in congress want the Fairness Doctrine imposed on broadcast radio to silence opinion. Silencing opinion is silencing free speach all beacuse they do not agree with you. A loss of constitutionl rights, yet they are for the people??? Was it not the the Germans in WWII that started with silencing the opposition? The Cubans, Chinese, and Chavez do they same thing. Do not take it lightly. Be careful what you wish for for someday you may be silenced for you opinion, and the media will let it happen. Right before your eyes.

This conviction is just a bunch of media elites that want the fake americans to vote for gun control. That, also under the umbrella of job creation, and you know, shore up our economy. Its was obviously a case of "gotcha journalisms" because Joe six-pack is here in "real America." again, you know... I had a point but I didn''''t memeorize it so I''''ll hafta get back to ya

wntrpls, the JIGG is up? Where do you get such language? The Used N-word Store? Don''t you get it? You blew your cover! You don''t care about "socialism," you are afraid of "socializing." Divasmom is just about as obtuse as Hassle-back. Like you don''t even remember that the Palin pitch is for "taking care of your money," "being a good steward of the public''s money" and saving the taxpayers'' big bucks? That is the nexus, not the nonsense you focus on. It is her HYPOCRISY! She doesn''t get it, you don''t get it, but in eight days we''ll expalin it to you ( and no, it is not a spellcheck error).

Can''t CBS do something really related to the election, like interview Reverend Wright.

First question could be, What have you encouraged Obama to do as his spiritual mentor?

How will America change under an Obama Presidency?

Hey wntrpls. Want a 70s something-old senile ***, then vote McCain. McSame''s your man if you want someone who finished nearly last in his class! McSame''s your man who voted 90% of the time with the bumbling, stumbling Bush! McSame''s your man if you want permament tax cuts for the wealthy & corporations! Looks like you really know how to pick them, alright!!

The nasty comments here by obvious Obama lovers make me ill.
I am 63 yrs old and have never in my life witnessed such ugliness exhibited here by women about another woman. A woman such as Gov. Palin should never been subjected to this hateful, spiteful rhetoric and vicious attacks on not only her, but her family. Says a lot about the character of those who support Obama. All low and trashy. If you think for one minute Ms. Clinton buys her own clothes you are really dreaming. A well known designer said as much this week that none of the women who are in the spotlight in politics buy their own clothes ..they are mostly donated by name designers in the hopes others will see them and come to them for copies...you ninnies!! It is called capitalism. Any of you own a Lexus, Escalade, BMW, Hummer, or Mercedes? Where did you get the idea to buy one...see it in a neighbor''s driveway or on the show room floor?? All of this garbage about the Gov. clothes would never be coming up if the DNC was not worried about their precious Obama losing? It would not have even been on their radar screen!!!!

Lots of professional people buy second hand clothing, so I''m not surprised. What I am dismayed to see is the endless focus on the $150,000 wardrobe the RNC purchased, which they said up front would be sold for charity later. Politics is ugly, but it''s been even uglier for the two female candidates in this election.
