In the picture above, look carefully at the puffiness of McCains left cheek and the swollen lower lid of his eye, That is edema. There appears to be some water retention. Has this man recently had a stroke, his eye appears to be smaller than the other eye and the fold over of the epicanthic fold appears to be different from the other side. If McCain has not had a stroke one is impending, look for any more asymmetric anomalies in his face as the week goes on. Something is very wrong here.
McCain should not be allowed to continue his campaign if he is not in optimal health.

Electoral votes and who ultimately gets them are decided by our votes, Dimwit.

McCain never answered the question about his health or about Palin and it does not matter what the Republican base thinks of Palin, those are not the votes McCAin needs to win. It matters what the Independents and swing voters think of Palin and since we do not have a party to hold up in front of our country--we are apt to see Palin with more jaundiced eyes. Palin is an airhead and a mistake and we don''t care if the Republican base loves her--we would remind them, that they loved (and some still love) Bush too. The only thing this tells us about the GOP taste is that they have very poor judgment. That''s about all. But McCain can keep acting like he can win if just his base supports him. Indies will not follow his base. Moderate Republicans will not follow his base. Democrats will not follow his base. Some swing voters will follow his base--but others will not--the thing is--Palin is a drag and a liability and so is McCain himself.

What good does the base do for McCain if all he has is that 29%?

@DoILookligaf:
I completely respect ur opinions and though i didn''t totally agree with the socialist theory, i like the ideas proposed about electoral voting, or more specifically, banning it. It doesn''t give fair representation of America''s choice.

I, too, believe the media should give more variety in the candidates they focus on. Some of my fellow colleagues and I took a survey online that touched on several of the issues, then took our answers and matched them to the candidate who agreed most with our specific views. Many were suprised to find that, if they thought they were best matched with Obama, they were more suited for McCain and vise versa. And then there were others who found they were for a candidate they knew very little about (Bob Barr, Ralph Nader, Cynthia McKinnley, to name a few). The point is that if the media didn''t just give attention to the rich, perhaps we would discover someone who could share our views and opinions.

What we need is to balance the budget through cutting pork, streamlining government and redirecting monies currently being handed out to other countries around the world to improving our own worn and outdated infrastructure. And yes by increasing the tax rates of the wealthiest Americans while lowering them for lower and middle income Americans.

We need a medical system that insures all Americans rich or poor get the same top quality medical care. Washington politicians provide themselves the best possible care that our tax dollars can buy while telling the rest of us we can''t have the same because it is just too expensive.

We need incentives for those businesses who create good paying jobs in America and provide good health and retirement plans for thier employees and sanctions for those who move jobs overseas and cut benefits packages for thier employees.

Finally we need to remove the cap on Social Security Payroll Tax while holding the line on payouts so that we have a fully funded Social Security and Medicare

A flat tax is in no way fair. Obviously whatever the rate might be it would effect the quality of life of the lower and middle income americans much more severely than the very wealthy.

OBAMA used his own money and private contributions to finance his campaign.

McCain with a billionaire wife and 11 houses used taxpayer funds to finance his campaign.

WHO IS THE SOCIALIST HERE??

Today I exercised my right as an American. Today I voted. Today I voted for the future of my country. Today my voice was heard across the country. Today I voted my heart...not my fears and not my hatred. Today I voted for the future of my grandchildren. Today I voted America. God Bless America.
Stop all this hatred.
