Verdict In Vegas Kidnap/Robbery Case Comes 13 Years To Day After His Acquittal In Double Murder Case
- I am irish my family also was treated bad, which is very different than being dragged here in chains and abused generation after generation by society. Racism is a real thing. It is destructive, to everyone, no matter their skin color. We all have choices, as *individuals.* We can choose to be slaves to a tragic history and beat ourselves with it, (which is stupid, the world is unfair enough, if your skin is darker.) Or you can free yourself by making positive choices.

It needs to be murdered. It is destructive, to everyone, no matter their skin color. No matter our skin color we all have choices. As *individuals,* we can choose to be slaves to a tragic history and beat ourselves with it, (which is stupid as it is already unfair enough in the world if your skin is darker, and that sux.) Or you can free yourself by making positive choices.

- I am irish my family also was treated bad. However that is very different than being dragged here in chains and being abused generation after generation by society. Racism is a real thing. It needs to be murdered. It sux. And it is destructive to everyone no matter their skin color. No matter what color our skin is we all have choices as *individuals* we can choose to be slaves to a tragic history and use it as an excuse to beat ourselves with (which is stupid as it is already unfair enough in the world if your skin is darker, and that sux.) - Dear Pricern,
I still remember the days when OJ was a hero. However, we are still animals beneath the surface; prone to primal urges.
You are correct about racism being alive today. I don''t think it possible to ever be rid of it because the human mind is designed to notice differences. The ability to make distinctions was key to our survival as a species.
All of us are susceptible to primal urges. Mob mentality being a prime example of why groups (i.e. religious, political, or otherwise) exist. Healthy discussion and DISSENT is key to opening our perspectives. - Reply to this comment
- Interesting nurse70, Well see the RN behind my name? I am making my own way and using education to further myself and all those good things you said. It still doesn''t change the fact that many people are in predicaments that are directly related to the past. it''s a cycle that is very hard to break. If you take education from a person and they have offspring and their offspring learns the same thing and have very few opportunities then chances are they will never get out of the rutt. It''s very easy to say just do it, but it''s hard to break a cycle when that is all you know. Now I have the good fortune to come from a family that would not let the man keep them down and it caught on. It would equally has hard for me to be a bum and live on the streets because of what I have been taught. Many people are the same way but only in reverse. And it is as of a direct result of crimes perpetrated against humanity. Just because I can over come and do well does not mean that I can''t still see the injustices that go on everyday. It would be nice to forget and just live, but then you see the racism still alive which means it is still relevant today. I refuse to live in a vacuum and be blind to the facts of the way it is now.

- PRINCERN...... WHAT''S THIS WE STUFF? YA GOT A MOUSE IN YOUR POCKET? THE "WE" THAT YOU ARE REPEATEDLY USING IS REFERENCE TO AFRICAN AMERICANS THAT HAVE SINCE BEEN LONG GONE. MY GRANDMOTHER IMMIGRATED FROM SPAIN IN 1911 AND HER FAMILY WAS TREATED HORRIBLY. THEY WERE CALLED MANY AWFUL NAMES, BUT THEY WORKED HARD AND BECAME SUCCESSFUL.THAT''S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TODAYS MINORITY''S AND THE PEOPLE OF MY GRANDMAS ERA.TODAY ,AFRICAN AMERICANS THAT ARE NOT ABLE TO BE STRONG AND FIGHT THE FIGHT FOR AN ACCOMPLISHED AND RIGHTOUS LIFE ,COP OUT AND CLAIM THAT "THE WHITE MAN IS BRINGING ME DOWN". WHITES ARE NOT TO BLAME ,THIS IS AMERICA GO FOR IT WITHOUT ALL THE EXCUSES! THE LEGITIMATE WAY ,EDUCATION AND HARD WORK..... JUST LIKE THE MOST WHITES DO EVERYDAY.

- Why an all black jury? So that it would be a jury of his peers? Well whites are his peers. OJ was married to a white woman. Has biracial children. Is, excuse me, was currently living with a white woman. So, who exactly are OJ''s peers???? Black, white, yellow, brown, heck even purple polka dotted...we are all the children of God, so we are all his peers!!!

- He should have counted his lucky stars for having been acquitted in his first trial. Instead that only fed his arrogance and ego. He even wanted to come out and admit his guilt in his "If I Did It" book. I think there may be subconscious guilt at play here.

How about a trial for the man that lied about starting a war that has killed almost 5,000 men and women? Seems like that would be a better use of taxpayer''''s monies!

Absolutely...if there is a bigger murderer in the world it''s that president guy bush. - Reply to this comment

it is obvious that when nitwits like you don''''t have a leg to stand on you have to play the "racist" card again and again...I do know a lot of racists, but I don''''t know any who are worse than black racists.no?....what would happen if I tried to start a United White Guy Collge Fund?
the old two "non racist" reverend dudes would be on my a$$ like my underwear, betcha! Not to mention all your RED buddies, the ACLU....how''''s THAT for a color combination?
______
The race card was played for me by whites. They are the originator. They had no reason to hate blacks but did anyway. If you made a white college fund just for whites...yes you would be a racist since y''all already have the white college fund. You own everything and the only way blacks can get in the game is to make the United Negro College Fund or else we wouldn''t have any funds. If we didn''t make BET which is owned by a white company now we would be sitting around waiting for token parts in your movies and TV shows. There is a token on just about all of them but very few real Whole black shows and no black dramas at all. So yes...anything you make exclusive is racist and we have to do it because of your racism. I have two legs to stand on and wide open eyes to see your racism. We have a reason to hate you because of what you did to us. You had no reason to hate us but only because of greed and because we won our freedom. There is nothing worse than a white racist. - Reply to this comment

- To be fair, I think they are coming down hard on O.J. because of a crime he was aquitted of 13 years ago. That being said, I hope his sorry carcass rots in jail.

- Every notice when a man kills his children he''''s an evil murderous devil, but when a woman does it she''''s a misfortunate mentally ill person.

Sometimes it does seem that way, although the mother thought to have killed Kaylee Anthony is despised by all.
I did know a family where the man lost custody and killed his beautiful toddler by placing him on his lap, then driving at speeds of well over 100 until the inevitable crash killed them both. The man was a violent abuser of the ex-wife, and swore angrily that she would never get to keep the kids. I find this man despicable, and I cannot forget that he deprived his sweet child of the chance to grow up.
Yet I feel a bit confused about the man who threw his four children off a bridge to their deaths. Was he acting out of anger, or despair? Why does that uncertainty affect my perception of him? I suppose because in one scenario, I pity him for an impulsive act of desperation, and in the other, I curse him for being a selfish, vindictive control freak. - Reply to this comment
