First question: WHY DO YOU SPEAK IN %u201CCAPS?%u2019 IS YOUR %u201CCAPS LOCK%u201D KEY STUCK?
Second Question: Your homoerotic fascination about Powell notwithstanding, do you remember his little white lie to the UN? The one where he knowingly lied about WMD to the UN in order to market Bush%u2019s phony Iraq war? You remember the Iraq war, don%u2019t you?
That%u2019s the military occupation we mounted in a county, Iraq, that even Presidork Bush has admitted had nothing to do with 911 OR al Qaeda.
You%u2019re about 1500 news cycles behind. - Reply to this comment

- MCCAIN%u2019S BIMBO LIES ABOUT THE SALE OF CORPORATE JET
Everyone expects politicians to lie: It%u2019s how they get elected. But, what about UNNECESSARY lies?
McCain, the master of fib, flub and myth, introduced Palin in Cedarsburg, Wisconsin, this way: "You know what i enjoyed the most? She took the luxury jet that was acquired by her predecessor and sold it on eBay -- made a profit."
Slight problem: Palin lied. And the phony war-hero McMyth -------- who at least admits collaborating with the enemy as a POW -------- nonetheless backs her lie up.
%u201CAfter going unsold for months, the jet was put into the hands of Turbo North Aviation, an Anchorage aircraft broker, which put an asking price of $2.45 million on the nearly $2.7 million jet. It quickly sold to Alaska businessman Larry Reynolds for $2.1 million ($31,000 of which went to Turbo Aviation). Today the Westwind II jet spends its days ushering wealthy hunters around Alaska and Russia%u201D
Yeah%u2026%u2026 Palin%u2019s got it all:
1. Family values (knocked up teenage daughter)
2. a willingness to abandon her Downs syndrome baby to politcal ambition
3. a husband with a DUI past
4. the ability to lie fluidly
5. unusually good telepromter reader

How is the majority democratic congress working for you led by Nancy Pelosi? How''s that impeachment of G.W. going? How''s that "we''ll end the war" campaign promise working? Dems have had two years to make real change in congress and have come up with nothing but excuses. Don''t lecture on the president if your not willing to lecture about the hill. Change is coming one way or another. Careful what you wish for. - Reply to this comment
- Sen. John McCain has long standing close relationships with Lieberman and Ridge spanning years and is said to have favored one of them for his VP choice but was advised to abandon the idea since they both are Pro-Choice on Abortion. Sen. McCain was then ill advised to consider Sarah Palin, talked to her twice and spent less than 5 hours total with her and from this brief encounter said she was ready to step in as President of the United States if he became unavailable! This error is right up there with Pres. Bush looking into Russian Pres. Putin`s soul and making a similar error in an ill advised snap judgment! Not only do Americans not know Sarah Palin, McCain don`t know Sarah Palin either and just like the McCain camp did a poor job vetting Palin it did an equally poor job selecting her for Vice President based on `eye candy` alone with hardly any investment in time getting to really know her! Outrageous to say the least!

- COLLIN POWELL WOULD BE A GREAT V.P. CANDIDATE FOR MCCAIN IF ONLY POWELL WOULD AGREE. AND 95% OF REPUBLICANS WOULD VOTE FOR HIM W/ MCCAIN . COLLIN POWELL IS ANOTHER AMERICAN HEROE WHO IS OF BLACK DESCENT. THE POINT HERE IS . WE REPLUBLICANS WOULD VOTE FOR A BLACK PERSON IF HE WAS QUALIFIED AND LOVED THIS COUNTRY . UNLIKE OBAMA WHO IS A RADICAL AND GREW UP WITH SOCIALIST VALUES . YOU ARE JUDGED BY THE COMPANY YOU KEEP. OBAMAS FRIENDS AND ASSOCIATES .....REV WRIGHT , TERRORIST AYERS, FATHER *******, LOUIS FARRAKAN , CONVICTED FELON REZCO, JOE BIDEN-LADEN, OPRAH, MICHELLE THE HATE AMERICA AFRICAN QUEEN, AL GORE. JESSE JACKSON? I HOPE YOU GET THE PICTURE. FOR THE SAKE OF OUR GREAT COUNTRY . I DO LOVE THIS COUNTRY .. DO YOU MICHELLE ? DO YOU REALLY? I DONT THINK SO!!!! SO A VOTE AGAINST OBAMA IS NOT A RASCIST VOTE...... IS A VOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THIS COUNTRY --

err thats what the VP''s of both parties do in their traditional roles , the personal attacks or accolades based on whether she wears lipstick or doesnt , etc, do nothing to debate the serious issue of who you are voting for and why , personal attacks whether against palin , or obama, or even michelle which ms palin made a few references to as did rudy and mitt are to be deplored(while talking abouat personal attacks on ms palin family in the next trying to smear michelle ) , This is serious bidness . and mysoginy and attacks based on inuendo or *** should be abhorred by all. - Reply to this comment

err the people of America have a fight on their hands , we are fighting 8 yrs of failed republican policies , a doubling of the national deficit under republicans ,(the first one took 230 yrs to get too) Ms Palin does give a good speech , the facts dont bear out her assertions he ws for the bridge to nowhere before she was against it , in fact alaska kept the money for it , se cut taxes? alaska has no state or sales tax because they get the highes per capita income from the us government and oil companies . she was for gettting 23 million$ worht of earmarks for Wasilla before she was against them .as governor alaslaska has asked for over 350 million dollars worht of ermarks this yr alone (7,000 $ per resident in alaska. When mccain Pali are hollaring wahington fat cats looting our pockets they are talking the ones running Mavericks campaign .The only change they offer is from the american citizens to their special interests ,oul companines , etc. T here is another remark we have about lipstick in Texas as well . "you can put lipstick on a pig , but its still a pig" its hard to run as an agent ohange when you and your party have been in charge for the last 8 yrs overall , and the house for 14 yrs , etc. and when will she actually take questions from the press? spwawk . spwawk . - Reply to this comment

What would you call someone who is being hyped the way she is and yet, the public has not been given a chance to get to know her, other than the hype, even the adverse publicity she has incurred contributes to the hype. The McCain campaign builds the hype by saying the press is being unkind to her. It is time to let the press question her, to let her out on the campaign trail and let the voters question her, and yes, let the hecklers heckle a little. Then we will judge if she is qualified - Reply to this comment
- hbevis - Palin''s speech was originally written for a male candidate and then reworked at the last minute. She didn''t have anything to input. She only just met McCain but she talked about him as though she''d known him all her life. Same thing about Obama, and she''s only just started paying any attention to him. Karl Rove is calling the shots in the speech department, and he''s the nastiest of the nasty.
