It is historic in that it is the first 1/2 black and 1/2 white nominee for Pres. Not ALL black. But I know his white 1/2 gets no credit for the raising him and taking care of him only the black side gets all the credit for leaving him as a child. I think in todays black community that must be highly looked upon to leave your kids. It must be a thing black men do with pride since we seem to celebrate the Messiahs blackness that abandoned him and never mention the mean old white folks that took responsibility for him growing up.
