"...even though it is abhorrent to God..." Posted by cbullcom

Those who presume to know what "God" finds abhorrent, actually have no "God", and only presume themselves to be "God".

Sad little boy, you''ve done your penance, now you can go back to jerking off on the porn sites...

How can the setting be over the top??? It''s a friggin American football stadium. Is it over the top when the American football team plays there?

More to the point, why is CBS and other mainstream media repeating the idiotic talking points of the extreme right? They have nothing to say about Obama''s policies, so all they can do is make petty remarks about the venue where he made his speech.

"Obama is going to need all the hollywood help he can get, ala Paris Hilton." Posted by gunfighter51

He will certainly get all he needs, and not just from Hollywood.

Cower in abject fear, foul regressives. President "n-word" doth be in the house!

The speech setting wasn''t over the top. In simple terms of supply and demand, Obama was in huge demand so he supplied a bigger venue to accommodate it.

Regarding the pillars and stage setup, it was similar to the same stage Bush had in 2004, just a little better.

You liberals are all sucked in by smooth talk and platitudes. Listen to what Obama''''s saying...continue killing innocent unborn babies, embrace homosexuality even though it is abhorrent to God, appear weak to those who want nothing else but to kill us, and rape those big nasty corporations of their profits, even though they employ millions of us and contain much of our pension and 401(k) dollars.

If that''''s truly what you want, then you need to take a good long look in the mirror. There is something seriously wrong with you.

renojmc, did you know pride is abhorrent to god, did yoou know that god requires you to pray for your brother or sister even if you disagree. Did you also know the saying that he without sin cast the first stone.

"that is the same line nancy pelosi and her precious party spoon fed your arses...oh yeah where are they on thier ''''changes''''? anybody impeached yet?? ANYTHING HAPPENED AT ALL??" Posted by libsluv2spit

So now you call for impeachment. Up until now, your "god" Bush had done no wrong according to you and your neocon klan on these threads, now you fault Pelosi for chickening out?

You''re late son, and more than a little hypocritical, I have been calling for Pelosi to be recalled ever since she first let us know she had been bought off.

Corruption aside, the first "Black" nominee for president is obviously historic, and also obviously something that scares you and your ilk. Too bad for you.

History was made, America took a big step forward, and you are on the wrong side of it, tough titz.

Well, since we here in MI, have the Largest poverty rate, largest unemployment rate, largest on welfare role, highest in the Nation forclosure rate, Uhaul can not even keep enough vehicles in the state to keep up with the one way out of the state moves. We are living proof of what the Democratic Party has for us. Granholm is D, both state Senators are D, and, our world renown joke of a Mayor of Detroit, who has now cost the city and state of MI in the BILLIONS in legal expenses, Kwami Kilpartick, also a Democrat. Welcome to your future America, if you want to see what the Democrats have in store for you, just take a look at MI. And Governor Granholm says.. stay the course with the Democrats.

Gee, a Roman forum, all that glitz and glamour, yea, a bit over the top. Let''s put it this way, if it had been the Republican side there would be alllll kinds of outrage about the waste in energy, resources, you name it.
Did the goracle give the party a bill for the carbon credits this shindig needs to buy?

As each day moves close and close to the election the GOP will take greater and greater risks and the cost will be greater and greater. NC Senator Dole is now behind 3 points in the polls. Now while this doesn''t mean she will lose, it says that she has droped from a 12 point lead to a 3 point loss. Alaska Senator down 13 points downs and the numbers just keep getting worst for the GOP.

Yet they keep taking risk with more mud slinging.

Hey neo cons that is why you will lose because America is tired of the mud slinging.

Obam is a wind all right. Fresh is debatable. The wind he is belching sounds like the same old dumocrat rot every dumocrat presidential candidate has employed for the last 40 years! He is preaching Valhalla folks. It does not exist and will not exist even under a know knothing like Obam!

I''m fascinated at those who are claiming the classic architecture is, "Over the top." Those individuals must think all of Washington DC is "over the top" because that style is 99 per cent of what you find there and for good reason....it has a permanency to it and is intentionally awe inspiring. What would have been more to their liking? A row of Nascars perhaps? How about stacks of beer kegs? Would that do it do you think?

McCain couldn''t draw a crowd that big with free hot dogs and beer. who wants to hear the same ole hogwash that everything is fine and status quo is the way to go. Obama is a fresh wind for a ship that has not sailed straight in a long long time!

So, the Republicans are objecting to the COLUMNS on Obama''s STAGE SET? I''m willing to bet that at least one of the mansions McCain LIVES in has Greek columns on it.

This display confirms the McCain ad that stated that obama is nothing more than a transparent, shallow hollywood star on the level of the brainless such as clooney, damon, and many others who are overpaid and adulated like they are the focus of the second coming.
Obama can certainly read a good speech. He pick a good running mate. They are about equal in their avarice and corruptness as they ply their trade among the rich and powerful.
He spewed the same old dumocrat rot about us Americans being victims and the perp of it all is Bush and McCain and Obama is the savior that will defeat the evildoers. Just who are the dumocrats trying to appeal to? They must think all Americans think with their gonads or *** and walk around with their hands out waiting for another crumb to fall from a dumocrat politicians table.
Obama, you are still an empty suit, but you sure do read good!
