"And EVERY SINGLE TIME, that "someone" is a GUN OWNER!"

Only if you actually believe that anyone who possesses something actually owns it. And that you can actually pass some sort of law that will prevent violent people from actually possessing dangerous implements. Just like the total ban on illicit drugs has prevent the possession, sale, manufacture, or use has insure that dangerous people have been prevented from getting their hands on them.

I retired from the military at 42 and was subject to recall for ten years. Therefore i would have been over the 45 age limit. The usual time is two years for recall, the exception being if you had sf training they make you eligible for the ten year rule.

"If the minute men had to have a background check we would all be speaking the kings english."

There are numerous grammatical mistakes in this sentence, none of which a Canadian (ie. King''s English, no handguns, still managed to kick America''s *** in 1812 and burn down the White House) would make.

And criminals have guns regardless of what the law is.

Every once in a while we get lucky and get someone with your views To declare all gun owners as idiots is just as bad as racism. I have seen irresponsible gun ownsers but have never really known one. Every gun owner i have ever known has been responsible, never killed anyone unnecessarily or went beserk. The amatuers who buy guns and are turned loose are not responsible gun owners.

Of course teachers should carry guns, students should wear full body armor, the principals office a gun turret. The school bus replaced with a tank. The caulk board should have little ducks moving back and forth. Any student making less then a B, shot in the head right between the eyes. No more Ritalin. That way if Bush needs to look for WMD''s he can find it in his Texas backyard.

I will say it again. Let the people that know there job do their job.

If this school in Texas wants to have guns in their then more power to them. Time will tell if it is going to work out. I am in a position that allows me go take a gun into a school. And I don''t see anything wrong with the idea as long as the teachers have the proper training.

If the minute men had to have a background check we would all be speaking the kings english

They should only be allowed to carry Desert Eagles or AK-47s....nothing more powerful than that. lol

I am sorry to say that you don''t know much about guns.
A Desert Eagle is a powerful gun, but there are plenty of guns that are more powerful than a AK-47. The AK-47 is about what a 30-30 winchester is in power. You want something really powerful, go get a 30-06, 300 mag, etc.

"Guns dont kill people,it takes someone to aim and pull the trigger."

And EVERY SINGLE TIME, that "someone" is a GUN OWNER!

Conclusion: Guns don''t kill people. Gun Owners Kill People! Obviously, we should OUTLAW Gun Owners!

They''re all a bunch of re.tards anyway! Case in point: they all think that a gun can PROTECT them, when a gun, by design, can only KILL. Killing someone is NOT the same thing as protecting yourself.

Besides, if a Gun Nut can have a gun, so can EVERYBODY else. Whoever shoots first wins (''cause the other person is DEAD!). Everybody shoots everybody. Everybody dies. That''s NOT safety! It''s INS.AN.ITY! The END of civilization.

Gun Nutz are anarchists!

"What is an organized militia ?

Actually U.S. Code (Federal law) defines both the organized and unorganized militia. The organized militia today consists of the National Guard. The unorganized militia consists of all able bodied males between the ages of 17 and (I think it''s) 45) Don''t quote me on the ages but a web search of U.S. code might reveal it. If not, I''d suggest you contact the Second Amendment Foundation

RBW08: OK, maybe irony. I''m not too keen on this idea. I have the feeling it''s going to be shot down (no pun intended) the courts anyway.

"RBW08: Ever heard of sarcasm?"

Absolutely. Are you referring to sarcasm or irony? In either case, to what is it aimed?

Bringing a taser is like bringing a knife to a gun fight. It is not effective.
