Friend Of Rielle Hunter Tells CBS News Liaisons Began Earlier Than John Edwards Admitted
- Pigeon. Wow. Now your claim to fame is that you played a trusting friend, betrayed her, exploited the situation, then, to stroke your own underdeveloped ego, pimped out yourself to the media. Nice! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Posted by no_robots

- First, both Hunter and Edwards are equally at fault. But, there are a lot of unanswered questions. For example, why pay Hunter between $3M to $8M over that period of time? What is the real source of the funds? If from campaign funds, then the FEC will get involved. If from personal funds, then they were a gift and the IRS demands "gift taxes" from both the giver and the reciever. I doubt that Mr. Baron wants to pay gift tax plus penalties plus interest. Are the payments still ongoing? Who helped an unemployed Hunter obtain a mortgage/lease on a house worth about $3.0M. Somebody had to have co-signed.
Edwards has made things much worse by lying, lying by omission and trying to mislead the public. The media bloohounds, include the tabloids, now smell blood and will hound him and his family for a very long time. - Reply to this comment
- edwards should never have stepped outside of his marriage vows. just another disappointment in lying, cheating men and the low-life women that will let it happen. disgusting.

You are 100% correct. I know because I used to be one of these "low life women that let it happen." - Reply to this comment
- I can''t believe that the questions of Young being the father never came up in this interview. Why has Young taken in Hunter to live with his wife and kids, does this family not own a pc or tv? What type of 60''s free love is going on in that family? or are they all
just hiding the fact that it is John''s baby, it is sooooo obvious.
Just how many lives and careers is Mr. Edwards going to take down with him?
Elizabeth should have said something to the media back when she knew, not saying anything makes her
an accomplice to the lies that John told the media. Elizabeth allowed it, she may have encouraged it. - Reply to this comment

- Why would anyone think this man''s political career is over? That insinuates that illicit s e x is not tolerated by the public when it comes to politicians. Clinton''s career wasn''t over, McCain''s career wasn''t over, why would Edwards'' career be over. Again, I''m NOT a democrat.

- Yes he is. How do I know this? Its because Edwards is a democrat and they will forever lie.

- I must say I''m impressed. Most posters tend to lean toward the left on these boards and accuse republicans/right-wingers of being judgemental. Not today! I agree with the poster that said, "enough on Edwards, it''s out, who cares, let''s get back to finding out the truth about Obama instead of falling for this smoke screen. And if Edwards should be out of politics because of this, then so should McCain and I''m a republican out of necessity since I can''t voter libertarian.

- my heart is with elizabeth edwards. she''s been thru so much in her life and getting ready to go thru more. this hunter chick should never have gotten involved with a married man - and on the same token, john (''i''m too se.xy for my shirt'' or so he thinks) edwards should never have stepped outside of his marriage vows. just another disappointment in lying, cheating men and the low-life women that will let it happen. disgusting.

Another nosepicking lib whiner. What ''crimes against the American people'' are you talking about?
The only ''crime'' is that morons like you can pull a voting level. - Reply to this comment

Bedwetting lib whiner. Was McCain a senator then? Was he running for president then? Why don''t you go back to watching Oprah and leave the tough stuff to us. - Reply to this comment
- Why are we so worried about Edwards? Look at what these low life trash Republicans have been doing to us for 8 years. Oh make that since that awful low life racist Ray Gun. Let''s talk about the issues or at least all the GOP transgressions and the real crimes against the American people.

- i think trixie041 is absolutely correct. And how freaking intelligent can the fake name Rielle really be, getting in the sack with a married man. And honest...i don''t find anything remotely honest about Reille Hunter or whatever name she''s going by now. She strikes me as a conniving ***.

- Well, I hope the *** was good, because he''s paying big time for it now. How very, very stupid. And to make a baby - the height of idiocy. How many people has Mr. Edwards hurt with his thoughtlessness ? What can his children think of this when they are older ? He could not control himself, and so should never be a leader. I say this even though I supported him in the primaries and sent him money. He cheated me, but that is the LEAST of it. His issues remain unsullied.

- John Edwards affair isn''t important and this point and time, who cares. Pigeon has the appropriate first name, personally just think she wanted her 3 minutes of fame.

- Leach added that Obama''s policies are "rooted in very old American values, as much as part of the Republican, as the Democratic traditions" and this will encourage previously Republican supporters to "pick country over party in this election."
OF COURSE REPUBLICANS WILL PICK COUNTRY OVER PARTY- THE DEMOCRATS ARE SO VERY CONFUSED- THEY CAN''''T EVEN THINK FOR THEMSELVES.
GGOD LUCK WITH YOUR PARTY DUMMIES hahahahahahaha
OH, ooops this article is about Edwards.....who cares, really. the man is toast. - Reply to this comment
- Who cares about Edwards any more, now that he has been exposed and the New York media''s coverup has been exposed.
Let''s go back to turning the rock over and discovering who Barack (Blessed of Allah) Hussein (Supreme Leader) Obama is. Wasting any more time on Edwards at this point is just a diversion from finding out what needs to be uncovered about Obama. - Reply to this comment
- Gee, can''t imagine why he''d do that. Honest Ed is his middle name.
