The only reason for her refusal of the test is because she has a nice, fat hush money check coming each month from "Love Lips" to continue to refuse it. All you have to do is look at his evasive answers and posture during the ABC interview to tell he''s still lying.

As a supporter of Edwards, I feel betrayed, but when compared to how McCain dumped the wife who waited 5 years while he was a POW and campaigned for his release, dealt with his PTSD, and helped him start his political career, this is small potatoes. And, let me remind you that Edwards, as awful as his behavior was, dealt with it with his wife and settled the situation long before any of us heard about it. By the way, McCain IS STILL running for President, not Edwards.

It matters because if this had not come out in the news media he could have been chosen as VP or a cabinet position. That matters.

Edwards needs to get out of politics and become an ordinary citizen. Then he can have the "privacy" he wants. Then his family can deal with him and his mistress and possibly his child.

I saw them on TV last year, and his wife was several feet away from him. I doubt she is as warm and fuzzy about this as he said on TV.
