- But I am wise in recognizing my mistake

Wisdom is recognising something ahead of time. recognising an obvious folly after it''s happened is just fvcking obvious
I have nothing but scorn for you dittoheads who lambasted and mocked those who opposed the war in 2003 and now demand credit for your "wisdom" in seeing that you were indeed fvcking morons back then
Wisdom was shown by the likes of Obama, Gore, Durbin, Feingold, the dixie chicks etc who opposed the war in 2002 /2003 - Reply to this comment
- Yes, I was idiotic to vote for Bush. But I am wise in recognizing my mistake rather than continuing to follow the Dear Leader and the Rushbots. AND, I would like a reply to the information on the web site I provided, but the Busheep are afraid to confront the truth.

- actually I buy into the possibility that while Iraq was ignoring 14 UN resolutions that they could have shipped weapons to Syria,

Obviously you also "buy" into the possibility that those same weapons that they shipped to Syria were quickly brought back so the Naturally Stupid assh0les and completely Incompetent *** could take pictures of these mythical WMD in order to give colon bowel those "pictures" to wave around at the UN
And naturally of course those WMD were shipped to Syria in trucks with thin metal or tarpaulin covers without piccies being taken by the aforementioned completely Incomepetent *** and Naturally Stupid *** despite the fact that they claimed to have been able to take pictures of these WMD when they were in underground facilities with feet of concrete above them .
But obvious ly you do so because you have bought into the idea that Saddam had conducted top secret negotiations (known only to the codpiece in chief after his conversations with the voices in his head) with the Klingons and had the use of their "cloaking technology"
*** glue bottle - you''re a fvcking idiot of the highest order
Have you ever considered waddling over to an auto mechanic and asking him to jumpstart that atom you call a brain so you can you know think through your assinine claims before spouting ''em out ? Psssst despite what your pastor Haggee says, thinkings is NOT heretical or sinful - Reply to this comment

Nope - disagreeing
You claimed that because Sun Tzu claimed you must only fight on suitable terrain then that is what you should do - ie never fight on unsuitable terrain
History has shown that the truly great military leaders have defeated their eemies on terrain that in theory was against them. There are more factors than terrain that come into play in winning a battle :
terrain,
weather
weaponry,
quality of your troops,
qality of your leadership (not just the head honch but his immediate subordinates)
numbers
speed
surprise
are just some of the components
Inndeed attacking with speed and surprise on theoretically unsuitable terrain can negate the advantage that the terrain may give your opponent - witness Hannibal crossing the Alps to attack Rome ....crossing the Alps with elephants is not something that would have been best advised - Reply to this comment
- "BTW the result of Clinton''''s policy was 9/11/2001."
To txgrouch and all others, read the information on the following web site listed below. It contains ABUNDANT AND SPECIFIC AND DOCUMENTED INTELLIGENCE about an attack on the U.S. Scroll down to the bottom to the year 2000 WHEN BUSH WAS PRESIDENT. Look AT ALL THE DETAILED INTELLIGENCE THAT WAS IGNORED BY THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION. I''ve posted this before but have not received an reply. This is not about Republicans and Democrats. I voted for Bush twice, but now I recognize the filth and failure that has permeated this administration. He has betrayed the Republican Party as well.

Its not a matter buying any thing mr u.s ,its a matter of facts based on truth ,...you are used to of listening lies from your leaders that why truth rings some what strange is''nt it my dear g.g. - Reply to this comment
- ........theory is fine dear boy but the greatest military leaders adapt theory to the practicalities of the situation they face.
sounds like you are agreeing with me - Reply to this comment
- Yeah but you bought the claim that Iraq had thousands of tonnes of WMD in March 2003 and that Iraq was behind the 9/11 attacks
Wonder if your "unwillingness" to buy is due to your lack of ability to afford to buy given that the $ has collapsed to almost worthlessness in the last few years.......

actually I buy into the possibility that while Iraq was ignoring 14 UN resolutions that they could have shipped weapons to Syria, quite possibly, or buried them. We know they had used mustard gas on their own people, and we can''t even find traces of that. As far as America collapsing and worthless, is a pipe dream and one shouldn''t be having. Because if the world goes to war, it''s gonna be America that''s going to have to save your rear end. - Reply to this comment

Of course I know the book......and I also know that the Chinese were crushed by the Mongols who I don''t believe ever read the book ........theory is fine dear boy but the greatest military leaders adapt theory to the practicalities of the situation they face.
I believe that most generals would like to face an enemy with numbers in their favour - yet alexander faced Darius with horrible numerical odds against him; NApoleon faced the Astro-Russians with numbers against him........ - Reply to this comment
