Ohio Man, 67, Claims Guards Got Outraged Over What He Meant As Joke

I am 59, retired military, Vietnam vet and 15 years law enforcement. Ido not know where you were law enforcement at but the oficers i worked with were very professional. I would not tolerate anyone abusing a suspect. We were there to serve and protect.
I still think a majority of law enforcement officers do a great job, like a bad apple a few make all look rotten. - Reply to this comment

You are one sick demented individual and have no business working security. Your employer will eventually pay for your actions. I have worked security and law enforcement. The last thing i want to do is harm someone, much less thinking about scenarios to do so. - Reply to this comment
- Maybe the preacher has never worked long hours at low pay.Fleecing his flock is a lot less stressful & gives him a rosey attitude.

- Another lesson for mr poison- it''s a good idea to MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS and not engage total strangers with your BULLCHIT and invade their privacy.

- Poisson says he used to go to St. Vincent''s regularly to pray with patients, but no longer can cope with doing that. He also says he''s had to give up his duties at a local soup kitchen that''s since closed"
ANother right wing bites the dust, no mo prayers granpa they dont work!
"Once the elderly man was thrown out the back door, WHY was it necessary to beat him down and taser him?"
We are only getting HIS side of the story and it doesn''t jive, like everything there are TWO SIDES to the story, when the real story comes out eventually we''ll find he resisted arrest or made a threatening movement or something. I find it real hard to imagine a sec guard is just going to assault and taze this guy for no reason, theres more to the story.
"Also, if I were his son, I would have clocked every one of those coward guards. What a COWARD his son is!

And you''d be in JAIL right now charged with assault and battery, facing jail time and lawsuits for injuries. the son was SMART, he lets the law and the court handle it. - Reply to this comment
- I hope the old guy ends up owning the d-mbed hospital. What a worthless bunch of jerks! The son should have at the very least called the cops himself. He sure wasn''t much help.

- This man should not be allowed to get away with it by claiming he''s a "granpa". That''s like Charles Manson saying "I''m my mother''s son so please don''t arrest me."
That''d be ridiculous, isn''t it?
I''m a security guard myself and I can''t stand it when people act all innocent because they''re children, or elderly, or handicapped, or a woman.
They''re trying to hide something, I know they are.
I like to take my taser gun with me when I''m not working and sometimes I''ll see someone acting all innocent like a child or an old man and I''ll come from behind and tase them when no one is looking and then run away.
Don''t act all innocent around me because I swear I''ll make you as guilty as hell! - Reply to this comment
- Did anyone hear about the young man that was tazed 10 times handcuffed and on the ground. He was already dead when the police man taze him 2 more times.

- He is just a white male. Nothing will happen to the guards.
Oh wait...the man appears to be elderly. Good thing for him that he has "protected" status. Oh boy, NOW those guards and the hospital will pay...DEARLY. - Reply to this comment
- next time you fellas see a guard either at the hospital or mall, take a good look at thier handcuffs - it is made of plastic and on sale at toys-r-us ;+)

- Cool. -- Now that cops have a weapon they are ALLOWED to use, of course they are MISUSING it. -- So, what ELSE is new. -- Some of them became cops because they were already bullies. -- Hopefully there are still more honorable cops than not. -- Some people cannot resist inflicting pain on others, if they think it is legal or allowed. -- They are the ones that will misuse such devices.

- Wow-those guards will be in big demand now-the gated communities surely need strong enforcement on their private roads & common areas.

- Go back to the hospital and wait until dark and suprise them one at a time and then shoot them in the nuts with a taser and then beat the sh-t out of them with a baseball bat.

- More of the ''Bully Boy'' thing once you give some people some authority. By the way, why use the word ''Grandpa'' when describing the incident? Show some repect regardless of age!

- The guards at Buchenwald reacted the same way if a prisoner became unhappy at the prospects of being tortured and killed. If here is one person against two authority figures and that person is not armed with a weapon then no weapon should be used to subdue said person. (A taser can kill, therefor it is a weapon)
