I have a question for nmitch4 who intends to vote for McCain since Hillary lost, WHY??? Seriously, what plans and causes did Hillary have that you believe McCain will fulfill as President. Or do you believe Obama could not succeed at fulfilling his promises.

I think a lot has to be said for Obama. 6 months ago everyone, even myself, believed Hillary was a shoe in. But Hillary''s lack of leadership was proven by her choice of campaign leaders. She selected people based upon friendship and loyalty instead of ability. If she were President, this flaw would no doubt cause her to select a cabinet of filled with her fans instead of the most qualified people.
Not to mention, Mr. Clinton. I''m sorry, but we don''t need 4 more years of his antics in the White House.
I admire Hillary for what she has accomplished, but the Clintons are known for being divisive, (which she showed by not acknowledging defeat in the first place), prideful, arrogant, and trying to force their will on others. This country doesn''t need 4 more years of that mentality. The world doesn''t need 4 more years of that. My children don''t need 4 more years of that. LET''S CHANGE for GOD''S SAKE.

Truly one of the most sexist and stupid things written about Hillary in a season of stupid commentaries. Good grief, Sally! Hit the hermit circuit yourself, please! I would hate to have to meet your standards for an intact identity: they are absurd and insulting.

As a woman, I feel very offended by so many of Quinn''s statements ("She was feisty at some point and even shrill, and then she would cry.") Hillary was extremely strong throughout this campaign, and very composed. She''s a far better speaker and campaigner than McCain (and almost any other man). I didn''t vote for her - I support Obama - but I am so tired of the stereotype of women being weaker, being less emotionally stable than men. None of the candidates have been perfect - they are human - and I certainly have had disagreements with Hillary Clinton, but she never did anything to substantiate those stereotypes. She deserves more respect than this.

"And I think that what she needs to do now -- and I know this sounds really strange, but -- if I were Hillary Clinton, I would go off to a retreat somewhere. ... A silent retreat. And I would stay there, I would take a sabbatical and stay there for three months, and not talk, and meditate, and think, and try to figure out who I really was and what I really wanted. I''m serious".

I knew all along that the Evil, Disingenuous, Pantsuited Hag was off her nut....
If she flys that Broomstick over the house one more time, I''m gettin'' the Pellet Gun out.....
That Cackling is driving me up the wall......

I want to thank Sally Quinn for reminding women that they cannot be equal no matter the circumstance. Ms. Quinn is in the position she is now due to women like Hilary Clinton that have worked twice as hard as any man just to be on a level playing field. If Ms Quinn was trying to be a therapist I would suggest she get a degree in that field. Otherwise keep those outrageous comments to herself. Having been a Hilary fan for years, I will not vote for Obama. I am looking at voting Republican for the first time is many years.

PUMA! Why even be a democrat if you''re going to support McCain and allow him to choose the next Supreme Court Justices? Why would you do that to your children? You''re just cutting off your nose to spite your face. Just do what we DEms are so often called upon to do. Take a shot of the hard stuff, put a clothes-pin on your nose and vote for the person who states he/she will do the things you believe should be done.

If you were only voting for Hillary because she was a woman, then why bother being a Democrat or any member of a political party? If you truly are a Dem and do believe in what they will do (give us choice, equality, etc.), then you gotta vote for the Dem.

Keep your nose. :)
