Politico's Mike Allen Says Former President's Remarks Reflect Frustration Over Hillary's White House Run
- CBS reports Obama said, "... what is absolutely true is that people don''t feel like they are being listened to. ... What we need is a government that is actually paying attention."
---
When Hillary misrepresents the facts, as in her Bosnia remarks, that is called a "misstatement". It is not called a lie, since that term is reserved for George Bush and his prevarications about Iraq.
But let Obama state the truth in a somewhat unflattering way, Clinton is the first to demean Obama. Instead of welcoming truth to the debate about national issues, Clinton seeks only narrowly-perceived, personal advantage.
Ironically, Obama''s remarks reveal more about Hillary''s character than Hillary''s about Obama. QED. - Reply to this comment
- First, Hillary sees imaginary sniper fire.
Then, she says she "misspoke" but others are "elitists."
Now, she tells us she hunted at as a girl.
Seems like every time she opens her mouth these days, some kind of weapon comes out.
And even when she puts her weapon down Bill picks it up and pulls the trigger. - Reply to this comment
- It seems that after all the scandals the American public have had to endure arrising from Bill, Hillary and "W", Bill of all people would understand that this race in many respects comes down to Hillary''s integrity. The public is tired of all the lies and scandals of the past 16 years. Yes, it has been like robbing a bank...

- Bill and Hillary are one sick couple. I believe they are actually in competition with each other. On one hand, he wants her to win so that he can have four more years in the White House. On the other hand, he doesn''t want her to outdo him. They deserve each other.

- Yeah, no need to have Bill second guessing every move and interfering in matters of State.
He had his eight years,. THat''s enough. - Reply to this comment
- Taxpayers Fund Bill Clinton Spending.
The price tag for Clinton%u2019s federal retirement allowance from 2001 through the end of this year will run $8 million, compared to $5.5 million for George H. W. Bush%u2019s and $4 million for Jimmy Carter%u2019s during the same period.
Since 2001, Clinton has received more of almost every benefit available to former presidents - from his pension to his staff%u2019s salaries and benefits to supplies. His $420,000 phone bill and $3.2 million office rent tab both nearly surpassed the totals rung up for those purposes by Bush, Carter and the late former presidents Gerald Ford and Ronald Reagan combined. As a group, they spent $484,000 on telephone service and $3.8 million on rent in the same span.

An maybe she have one of those PMS things or some other woman kind of stuff. She need to be home taking care of her husband. No wonder he be consortin with other woman. She never took care of herself and now she need to be home to take care of him. I mean, supposing he want her to fetch something or run an errand or somthing. He expect him to do it himself.

- Former Army Secretary Togo West, who accompanied Clinton to Bosnia, said he was not surprised "that there could be confusion" when someone who has taken a number of trips tries to recall details of a particular trip 12 years earlier.
"The important thing is that she was there. Our soldiers saw she was there and heard her and knew that our country cared about them and what they were doing," West told the AP during a telephone interview. - Reply to this comment
- Way back in the beginning of this mess we call a campaign, I said that Bill Clinton would be the one to ruin it for his wife, and frankly he has not let me down. I say that sadly because only Hillary should be the one to ruin it or win it for herself. Bill can''t shut up because he knows he screwed it up several months ago with the race issue. However Hillary made the decision to lie about Bosnia and only will have to live with that mistake. I remember when Barack sarcastically asked which Clinton was he running against, which was actually quite funny. Hillary and Bill could have made a good campaign team if they both weren''t so *** competitive and wanting the spotlight for themselves. It is a pity. Two very bright people with the best education with amazing life opportunities.

- maybe it''s no accident. maybe he doesn''t want her to be president. maybe he knows something we don''t. maybe he''s afraid of her, of her lust for power. or maybe he''s jealous. or maybe he just doesn''t like her.

- "This is turning into desperate times for the "Hildabeast."" Maybe, but I am enjoying her discomfort ever so much. After years of kissing the arse of every minority within reach, a "minority" is taking her to the woodshed and beating the tar out of her.

- Bill Clinton is acting like John McSmurf''s
ventriloquist.
I can''t get the image of Lieberman popping up behind McBushite''s head every time he speaks.
It''s like Beetlejuice. You just see this weird spirally headed figure with a funny face (Lieberman''s)
and then Johnny says "Beetlejuice...Beetlejuice...''no please'' America says, and then Cain says Beeteljuic........e" and
America stays in Iraq for another 100 years..
Neocons need ventriloquists, they can''t speak for themselves, right Limbarf, Robertson? - Reply to this comment

- One would hope a former president could behave with a little more dignity. Then again, dignity was never Bill''s thing, was it?

- Bill Clinton needs to go back to his elite suite in Harlem and sit on his imported Indian sofa and turn on
his imported Chinese widescreen and watch re-runs of "Married with Children" and follow Ed Bundy''s advice and
say "No Ma''m"
This is turning into desperate times for the "Hildabeast." - Reply to this comment
