Disney World Officials Suspend Actor Who Plays Character
- Thank you for the link, do you notice he waited over 9 hours to go to the police. This family owes tigger a huge apology. Not to mention Disney needs to ban them from future theme park visits. I think I will send them a tigger card.

- I took a look at the pdf Orange County Incident Report #07-1766 dated 1/5/07 that HonestAbel posted. Everyone needs to read it!
It states in the last paragraph that:
"...the Tigger performer advised he had lost sight of his spotter during the photo shoot. He felt someone come up on his right side. The person then felt their arm over Tiggers shoulder pulling his costume back and knocking him off balance. The head portion of the costume pulled back making it hard for him to breathe so he left the area to get the costume adjusted."
This statement, by Tigger, was made BEFORE all this hit the air. It is clear that Tigger was being manhandled (or should I say "spoiled wise @ss brat handled"?) by someone he couldn't see.
In the report the father admits that it wasn't until AFTER he watched the tape did he see the "punch" to his son. Is this because his son wasn't complaining of any injury until later when his daddy suggested it?!

- Way to go HonestAbel for the direct contact to this low life scum sucking %$#@^P father and son.
I think all of America that responded to this dog and pony show should flood these two disfunctional people with letters on the comments made from their incredibly stupid accusations made against a guy on the job just protecting himself from what obviously appears to be a very mentally handcap teenager. So what do you say America how about those letters. - Reply to this comment
- As someone else that has "walked" in Tigger's shoes, I can tell from the video that the young man's hand was trying to go up into the head or to play with the velcro in the back. "Tigger" has felt this same thing in the past many times. Look at the face of the young man before, during and after the incident. There was no sign of pain shown on his face after the so called "sucker punch". I teach junior high and am very disappointed in what the parents are teaching their teenager about this whole incident. I am also very disappointed in CBS for giving this much air time to this. If CBS would have consulted with "experts" in this field, they would have known that this case has absolutely no merit.

- What a Jackass of a father and excuse me but what a p&$%y of a son. What are those furry little mitten%u2019s that tigger has on. You could get punched in the face and it would not hurt. What you do not see is that the kid probly was pulling his costume or tail when the worker who was playing tigger gave a little smack. Good way to show your kid how to take a smack. Dad your an idiot and I hope they find proof that your son instigated it and giver a counter law suit; and for his sone "let the bullying begin"

- i stopped watching The Early Show a few years ago, along with pretty much everything on CBS, except for CSI, because of this kind of thing. the only reason i'm here now is i heard about this fiasco on the Rusty Humphries show, and had to see it for myself. CBS is just making it easier for these idiots to grab some money from ABC and Disney. Hannah Storm actually acts like it was tigger, not some guy in a costume, that hit this guy(i refuse to call him a kid). this is a really bad interview with silly questions. to quote Jackie Gleason, "What is the world coming to?" in a way, i wish tigger would've really punched this guy, the dad, and Hannah Storm . they all deserve it.

- Is CBS serious? This ridiculous money hungry family is a news story? You gave these people TV time. I don't blame the weird Monaco family, CBS is making them famous. When did CBS become Star magazine?

- I also say shame on CBS and Hannah. How could she watch that video and with a straight face actually agree with that family. I have been to Disney World many times and Tigger is supposed to joke aroung with the guests, it's in his nature and most guests would be dissapointed if he did not. And for the father to say Tigger
"sucker punched" his son. PLEASE! I agree the family is only after one thing, a free trip to Disney World and extra money for the next trip. I think I might just start watching Meredith on the "Other Show". Not a great call CBS and everyone agrees you made the wrong call on this one! Go Disney! - Reply to this comment
- Someone sucker-punch me as I have now seen it all.
I feel bad for the kid in the Tigger costume who was just defending himself from being yanked around by this kid. I'm surprised, Mr. Monaco, that your wus son didn't drop to the pavement in convulsions -- a closed head injury is worth so much more than a simple neck strain. I%u2019ve seen 5 year olds take stiffer shots than your son and not require medical treatment.
The only thing missing is an ambulance chasing attorney...oh, wait. Jerry Sr. and Jerry Jr. must have been overcome with emotion as they apparently left Jr.s neck brace in the car. Sally. The good news is that your attorney is only going to take 33% of your -- I mean your son's %u2013 settlement. Take the money and upgrade your son%u2019s wardrobe.
I%u2019m sure Disney would looove to have their day in court, but fearing another stoopid McHotCoffee jury verdict the Sr. management team at Disney will cave and settle this out of court. One thing is for certain -- A jury of my peers would tie Jerry Jr. to the bumper of their car and drag him around the parking lot and show Jerry Sr. what a sucker punch is all about.
I%u2019ll be at Disney in April, Mr. Monaco, thanking each and every character in the place for having to put up with waste like you.
CBS, you%u2019ve got to do better than this%u2026grow a pair and ask the right questions%u2026like%u2026%u201DAre you kidding?%u201D Or better yet, leave this garbage on the street. - Reply to this comment
- totally disgusted with the monacos, the lawyer and cbs after i saw this story. i was just in disney this past november and i would be the richest man alive if i filed a lawsuit everytime minny mouse or goofy got a bit playfull with me or my children. it was so obvious to see the playfull nature of tiggers actions. i am amazed that my 6 year old noticed that nothing happened,( as all of the people in the video where laughing)and the national journalist, hannah storm couldn't see it. either mrs. storm is an idiot and thought that this boy was seriously injured force of the punch or she is just guttless and afraid to question mr monaco like most of her viewers would have like to seen.
