CBS - when are you going to follow up on this? I would like to know how the union is protecting this Disney employee ? I hope he pursues the Monacos for lost wages. I would like to know if this family realizes that the public thinks they are despicable. I would actually enjoy another interview where they are asked the tough questions and put on the spot. I would like to see the media at their doorstep and interviewing friends and neighbors. I would like the details of the incident report, with the Tigger character response, to be broadcast .

It is irresponsible reporting to bring this out to the spotlight with one side only and then brush it under the rug simply because reaction from the public was not what was hoped for.

CBS - you need to finish this. I guarantee further investigation of this would yield high ratings. Oh well, maybe Oprah will have to do it.

wow. okay, tigger was merely defending himself. it wasn't that bad. first off, tigger did NOT soccer punch that kid. second off, he's like what 15 or 16 years old? that's moronic. oh and really. tigger has like a million layers of padding. it can't hurt that bad. CBS, I am not along in my thoughts (as the rest of America would agree) that you owe the Tigger character a public apology on you morning early show.

How about it.

Because all you reported on was the fathers false testimony on the situation, and nothing was said about the character just trying to protect himself since his bodyguard had stepped away.

I feel sorry for the poor fella in the Tigger costume. It must take a lot of guts to do this type of job as with a big custom on like that people are vulnerable.
It seems to me that Tigger was only trying to protect the younger ones in the photo from this teenage rat bag who was obviously up to something with his hand at the back of the costume. It would have been a ruined family picture when they had arrived home to find that Tigger didn't have a head or one that was hanging off. Nightmares for weeks after that.
If only Tigger was real he could have bounced on his head then he would have had something to munp his gums about.
People like this should think to the future. If they dont keep their mouths shout and dont stop moaning the children of the future will not be able to have the experince of shaking hands with a disney character or likes as it will breach health and safety.

I am appalled that this father is setting such a bad example for his son. We watched over and over the video of this attack, and what we saw was a teen approach an actor in a suit(Tigger). Tigger is without his handler(for protection). Already, there are several violations to the rules and regulations to the parks policies of contact with the public and both are at fault.
At a glympse of the video you seem to get that it is relatively harmless, with the teen engaging in playful banter and slapping at Tigger in reciprocation to Tiggers actions toward the teen. It does not look like a violent attack by the Disney character.
The father is blowing it out of proportion to what probably actually occured.
Enough is enough let Tigger go! He doesn't deserve to be caged for this attack.

I suppose now that any money they make off this will be used for:

1.) personal body guard protection for dad & son
2.) years of therapy for the "little ones" who wake up one day to discover their dad is a moron
3.) the wife's divorce proceedings
4.) medical expenses when dad & son get the *** kicked out of them

I can't believe that cbs hasn't followed up on this story by now. Somebody has to have read these postings & be thinking "Geez, we blew this. How can we do damage control?"

Idiots. They're all idiots. Have all of you seen the video? It's just stupid. The kid has his arm behind tiggers head and it looks like he's messing with the costume. To me it looks like Tigger goes off balance and nearly falls. Whiney kid. He gives all teenagers a bad name. We're not all like that. The kids a looser because he was raised by a looser. The father says, "It's all a blurr" and "It's been a nightmare". Hey Dad, did you even stop to think of the nightmare you just put your kid through, the ridicule and harrassement he may endore. Nice Job and all for the love of money !!. There is no dollar amount worth putting your child through that and kid, don't let your dad make a fool of you....Own up to your prank and apologize. It's the right thing to do.
