As I said earlier in a previous statement we need to be on guard and watch out for our safety as well as our children's.I'm sorry for what this young girl had done to her but most of all I feel for this 2 year old child who will be haunted by nightmares and probably have a stress disorder for the rest of her life.I cant believe america is thinking the husband didn't do it of course when the truth finally comes out nobody will be able to say anything because the evidence will be overwhelming and I just hope the family can get that little girl the counseling and treatment she will need to have a successful life. This may be a case where the husband is called out of town for buisness and while away contacts someone close to them to do it so that he doesn't have to go through the pressure of providing for a wife and two kids.I hope we all find out soon what really happened so some of us who are hurt by these actions can find some peace in all of this mess.If the police also had done their jobs from day one when it was first discovered the child would have been questioned the sister in law would have answered a few quetions and took a lie detector test and then most important of all the husband would have confirmed his where abouts and records from a hotel and either his cell phone or home phone would have been researched to see if he did attempt to call his wife first or if this whole thing was plotted.

Only the worst kind of human scum would try to politisize a tragedy like this. This was a nasty, vicious murder of an innocent young woman, and anyone using it to promote a political agenda is,IMHO just as bad as the perp.

You make me sick, msspurlock.

I wonder how scarred this child will be from this? How much she'll remember? So very sad.

As tantilizing as this discussion is, how sad that the media has chosen to report on something they know little about, causing more distraction in finding the truth. Now, instead of grieving and morning a death, this falmily now face an every day berage of media and more obscure speculation. Why can't we as a society just wait a bit for some of our news so that more information is gathered and a better peice of journalism can be printed? About as much info as the Inquirer.

The husband doesn't have to prove he is out of town but he has to give the police information that would lead to them proving he was out of town. If they find he wasn't then they have to prove he killed his wife. He is a vialble suspect as many pregnant women are killed by their husbands or boyfriends for whatever reason. It's part of the control issue some people have. I imagine there are more than just the husband that have to prove where they were on the day she was killed.

howzilla - The police saying the husband would need to prove he was out of town had NOTHING to do with finding him guilty, just with getting himself taken off the list of SUSPECTS. You ARE innocent until proven guilty, no matter how much you want to believe otherwise. Guys like OJ have had REAMS of evidence showing them guilty and still get off if they can raise any doubt with the jury.

I love it how everyone and their uncle is speculating about who commited a heinous crime. With hardly any facts it would be nearly impossible to come to an informed decision. At this point i personally am more concerned with the 2 year old daughter than with guessing who killed her mother...

Thankfully it is innocent until proven guilty in the great USA. It will ultimately be the prosecutors responsibility to prove that someone, the husband or anyone else, did or didn't commit this horrible tragedy. The husband will have to answer a lot of questions but in the courts it all falls on the prosecutor. I do feel for this family and they are in my thoughts and prayers.
