Dr. Murray should get life in prison. He is a doctor and should live up to the oath he took. Regardless or not if Michael was a drug addict, it was up to Murray to know better than to administer any form of drug to Michael. Murray was into it for the money and that is it. He gave Michael the drug and probably fell asleep instead of watching Michael. Not to mention, there were other drugs he also administered to Michael. No matter what Michael was, he didn't deserve to die this way. No one does. Murray is guilty the charges which are against him is a slap on the wrist. he should be severely punished. I hope he can sleep comfortably at night because a normal person would have a conscience and wouldn't be able to knowing what they did. Look at his ugly face, you can see killer marked all over it. He should have been in jail from day one without bail and should remain there. I hope justice will be served.

Can't we move on. What good is it to point fingers when nothing will change? Hate fuels so much hate. Michael taught us to love not hate. I think in his heart, Michael has forgiven this man. Can't we?

Can't we move on???? You have to be kidding me! This guy is a murderer and you want us to just move on. There is so much about this that is wrong. First, the guy gave MJ Propofol, in his home!! This is not only unheard of, but extremely baffling. This medication is ONLY given in a controlled setting in a hospital, where immediate resuscitation is available. Second, he asks if anyone knows CPR? You really have to be kidding me. A cardiologist, no less, who doesn't know how to do CPR, especially after the risk of administering Propofol?? People, plain and simple, this man is a murderer of an incredible talent. Involuntary manslaughter??? No, more like 3rd degree murder. How is this man free. There is not an excuse in the world that he should not be in prison the rest of his life. Who cares if MJ "wanted" it. He's a doctor and should know better. He was in it for the $150K/month only!

The man was a drug addict, drug addicts die from their addictions, but the Doc was stupid to keep it going. Tragic all around for those poor kids. MJ liked dangling hi infant out a window. I don't think he was responsible enough to have children. He never set a good example for the.

This has become a travesty. Dr. Murray may be the victim. Michael Jackson was a Holliwood deviant. He got what he wanted. Dr Murray came in after Michael believed it was out of control (as evidenced from his slurred speech tape). Dr Murray was faced with an insurmountable task, trying to turn it around, but Michael was too far gone. Do not make matter worst by sticking years of deprivation to this one man who knew him for a few months.

Do you possibly understand what the Hippocratic oath is all about?
This man was a physician and he killed a great talent!
Read statements 1 and 2. Original, translated into English:[4]

I swear by Apollo, the healer, Asclepius, Hygieia, and Panacea, and I take to witness all the gods, all the goddesses, to keep according to my ability and my judgment, the following Oath and agreement:
To consider dear to me, as my parents, him who taught me this art; to live in common with him and, if necessary, to share my goods with him; To look upon his children as my own brothers, to teach them this art.

1. I will prescribe regimens for the good of my patients according to my ability and my judgment and never do harm to anyone.

2. I will not give a lethal drug to anyone if I am asked, nor will I advise such a plan; and similarly I will not give a woman a pessary to cause an abortion. But I will preserve the purity of my life and my arts.

3. I will not cut for stone, even for patients in whom the disease is manifest; I will leave this operation to be performed by practitioners, specialists in this art.

4. In every house where I come I will enter only for the good of my patients, keeping myself far from all intentional ill-doing and all seduction and especially from the pleasures of love with women or with men, be they free or slaves.

5. All that may come to my knowledge in the exercise of my profession or in daily commerce with men, which ought not to be spread abroad, I will keep secret and will never reveal.

If I keep this oath faithfully, may I enjoy my life and practice my art, respected by all men and in all times; but if I swerve from it or violate it, may the reverse be my lot.

Michael Jackson was a complete drug addict and celebrities surround themselves with people who will enable their addictions and self-destructive behavior. The guy is dead and other people will be taken down with his destructive behavior. Say "No" to drugs. They will kill you.

It is completely shocking to hear a cardiologist say, "does anyone know cpr?" That is completely ridiculous. When someone's heart stops, immediate cpr is required. Only anesthesiologists are certified to give propofol, in a hospital because it can make a person's heart stop.

This is really 3rd degree murder, by definition.

Dr. Murray and Dr Klein should have been comparing notes since Klein was injecting MJ with Demerol days before his death while Murray was treating MJ for Demerol withdrawal by giving him Propranolol to sleep?

I hope by all powers that be, that this man spends the rest of his life, in a prison cell, thinking about how his $150K per month caused him to forget about the meaning of life and take the risk he did.
