Comments on: Gore: Bush Leads "Assault On Reason"
Takes On Administration On Numerous Fronts In New Book

This was the kind of lie the right told before they really realized how easy it was and manufactured the kind of wholesale group lies that the SwiftBoaters represent. The sad thing is that folks like mudrose know this is a lie but don't care. It's part of the neo-con values paradigm. It's for your own good....

"That Al Gore claimed to have invented the Internet has got to be the most successful flat-out lie since, well, the last one."

Yeah, tell it to Gore and now you can call him the "Father of Global Warming", too. Delusional, the whole lot of you. Always an angle. Lies, Lies, I tell you all Lies. Hahahaha. I am revolted by the chanting of the spoiled electorate clamoring for retreat and defeat. - Reply to this comment
- Now if it makes you feel good to know that the US is more open than Russia on this, good. But there are many more countries than that that are far more progressive (and the list is growing); and even some Latin American Countries are moving ahead of us now legally on this issue. Not to mention South Africa, Western Europe and Canada.

Napoleon abolished France's incest laws in 1810. Neither is it a crime in the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Belgium, Portugal or Turkey. Japan, Argentina and Brazil have also legalised it in recent years.

- Mr. Gore is right on target, this President has governed from the right without mandate with his far right ideological dogma cloaked in the appearance of faith to the benefit of his wealthy beneficiaries and fundamentalist ideologues solely to maintain power at all cost, placing our tax revenues in their pockets and excusing their burden, he has overseen the weakening of our laws, our communities, our prosperity and our judiciary and used his minions to disparage with propaganda bigotry and hate any who disagree with the views is of his sect. Bush Inc. is a direct assault on the democracy of this country he and his sect should continue to be rejected along with the politics of hate wielded as a weapon so deftly by this crowd.

Funny why is that the left is always clamoring that they are being persecuted why nobody is chasing them? Doesn't that strike you as odd? Always running around accusing people of doing them harm. Well, I suppose as the saying goes: The more you tell a lie, the more it becomes true. I am revolted by the chanting of the spoiled electorate clamoring for retreat and defeat. - Bush Leads "Assault On Reason"
With fear mongering.
Bush's whole strategy is to scare the whole country into subservience.
It's reminiscent of cult leaders' tactics:
Elect the liberals and the terrorists win!
Elect the liberals and you will get the next attack in the form of a mushroom cloud.
Elect the liberals and you will have legalized g@y marriages and so on and so forth.
This is a bogeyman strategy and they have been very effective in using the bogeymen of bin Laden, of g@ys, of abortion, to get unquestioned loyalty from their followers.
This gives them free licence to attack another country, kill thousands of our own citizens, maim tens of thousands more, give hundreds of billions to the pharmaceutical companies, and plunder our national treasury.
And in the meantime, their cronies in the big industries, esp. Halliburton is getting a free ride with BILLIONS of windfall revenues!
When you have a Vice President, the chief instigator for the Iraq War, directly or indirectly benefiting from the war he created, you have a case of corruption that is unparalleled in the nation's history!
But he's getting away with this crime and laughing all the way to the bank because of the neocons' successful strategy of fearmongering. - Reply to this comment

Well good for you ttinsly. Try Poland. I personally don't give a ***** why your relationship is, I just don't care to have it flaunted in my face. - Reply to this comment
- He's becoming an irrelevant, bitter, sad old man. And the icing on the cake is that the new book about Ronald Reagan sold more copies than Gore's book. Granted, the margin was extremely slim (5 copies); however, if a living ex-Vice President who is all over the headlines can't even sell more books than someone who wrote about a dead president, that's the epitome of irrelevant.
