That psycho-witch was very entertaining for our nursing home residents! They can't believe half the crap she pulled and half were just as outraged by Jon's behavior too. Maybe somebody should do a reality show about the difference in lifestyles (and family behaviors from when people still respected each other) of the 1940's & 1950's with our current lifestyles...bet it would be very interesting.

My wife has watched this show since it started. From the very first time I saw Kate, I said she was terrible to her husband and refused to watch the show. For years every time I have gotten a glimpse of it on TV, again Kate was terrible to her husband. I think she is lucky to have had him for this long. He seems like such a nice guy and always deserved better than her. Even my wife said it was only a matter of time before he left that marriage. Good luck with your life Kate and good luck trying to find the next sucker for you to berate daily.

The show was all about how a couple manages all of those kids together. How not buckle under the stress, and to keep relationships strong. In my opinion, they don't have a show anymore because now they're just like the rest of the divorcees.

Anyone who thought the big money, fame and greed wouldn't overtake their human lives is naieve. There was zero chance this "family" would survive the 24-7 camera crew, devoid of personal time to nurture relationships. This set-up would doom any relationship.

I totally agree having been through divorce myself and trust me I did NOT give up that easily. Both of them certainly have another thing coming!!! You may be able to work together for a while but things change FAST and without warning!!! In the immortal words of Dr. Phil "you marry one person and you divorce another" How well I know this!! Divorce will NEVER bring peace or closure especially when you have children. It has been 7 years I have yet to see or feel any peace or closure. I remain hopeful

Where was the marriage counseling?? Where was every attempt made to save this family?? As individuals they may feel they have done all that they can but what about as a couple and a family?? VERY SAD!!

I don't imagine; Jon was unusually tolerant, which is a rare quality. I daresay the lack of privacy in their relationship - rather, the public's knowledge of the nature of their relationship - makes him irreplaceable.

My husband watched part of the show just once and saw Kate slapping her husband in the face when the camera was rolling. That would have been the day he would have packed his bags.
