The judge should never have asked a question for which he was not prepared for the answer. And just because the answer was not politically correct does not mean it was wrong. What the judge was really saying in his later berating of Miss California is that she should have lied. The personal attacks on her fail to address the issue usually and always seem to lack the requisite logic necessary to negate her argument. They just lash out not because she's wrong or because they have a logical, cohesive argument against what she said, but just because they don't like what she said. Making Miss California out to be a bad person because she does not agree with you or your up until now unjustifiable agenda is laughable.

Trying to draw some parallels between minority struggles for civil rights and gay rights is also wrong. You can't necessarily tell if someone is gay by looking at them. You can tell if someone is a minority. Gays were not enslaved or separated from the rest of society as african americans and native americans were. Gays did not face years of lynching and fire hoses and dogs, and the stealing of their lands, and relocations to reservations, and anti chinese discrimination in years past. Miinorities did. Gays have faced discrimination but it is not nearly the same as minorities.

And leaving God and the Bible out of it completely, the rule of life is perpetuation of the species. So outside of some kind of abnormality the evolution (if you believe in that) of people that "naturally" attracted to their own sex would make no sense. A community of such people would bring about their extinction. On top of that, male and female anatomy obviously show that one goes with the other under normal circumstances.

So if the homosexual community and their supporters actually want to further their agenda, and change peoples minds, the least they could do is come up with something better than name calling, and yelling and screaming and labeling people as bad or homophobes just because they don't agree with them.

How sad that any woman should feel she needs fake boobs in order to feel pretty or confident. Even sadder is that the pageant people helped pay for that. It really sends a bad message to young girls and women. It says that in order to be beautiful you have to be busty. Bunch of BS in my book.

I was not pleased with her answer to the question about marriage, but she is entitled to her own opinions and I can respect that. Even though I disagree most heartily. Personally I do not care what is going on in someone else's bedroom, as long as that someone else is not trying to get with an underage child. I have to draw the line there. All else however, is none of my business.

Whatever happened to the concept of "falsies"?

What is really really sad is that if she had made a statement affirming that she was in support of gay marrige she would have won.

So her beliefs robbed her of an accomplishment that had nothing to do with this issue. Not so "free speech" if you ask me.

In addition, we would have never ever heard anything about this breast thing.

TO ALL PAGEANT CANDIDATES: When faced with a policital question, no matter what you believe, answer like Michael Moore.

Who gives a crap about beauty pageants anyway? Where are all the feminists when these things are going on, screaming about debasing and exploiting women? Pageants are nothing but sponsored voyeuristic events.

In the Bible, ABOMINATION means NOT KOSHER. It wsa used in the Levitical Holiness Code, a standard of behavior for Levitical Priests, the tribe that took care of the Temple and the Holy of Holies. That same list of rules also said that if your mother wears clothing with two different fibers you were supposed to kill her. Also if your daughter was a prostitute (defined as a non-virgin but unmarried woman) she should be stoned (Are you listening, Sarah Palin?). Another one. If your son is a drunk, you are supposed to kill him too. And of course we all know about the seafood.

God judged all sin, including the sin of judging and discrimination. Then God sent Jesus, made him responsible for all the sin. He paid the penalty with his death. He overcame that death at the Ressurection. Since the penalty for sin is already paid, if we accept it, we are forgiven. And saying that God forgives some sins and not others is blasphemy.

The first thing a woman loses when she loses weight is her boobs because they are almost entirely fat. A woman whose bones stick out but has breasts has fakes. Period. The great Dolly Parton admits that when she lost weight she lost hers so she had to get some fakes. I

Prejean claims to be an evangelical (She is really a fundamentalist) Christian. But her boobs and her view on gay marriage both indicate that her faith is at an incredibly immature level. God says that what is on the outside is not what is important. It is the heart that counts. Her heart has a spirit of exclusion. So does she get her self confidence for her boobs or from knowing the love and acceptance of Jesus Christ?

Hypocrisy.....can turn around and bite you in the a$$, eh, Miss California?

Miss North Carolina won fair and square.....why are you insinuating otherwise?

Be a good Christian, and spend some time to review your Bible studies! Were those fake boobs that important?

As a heterosexual, I don't feel threatened by gay marriage, and I don't feel that it is any of my business, nor yours.

Why would a supposedly non-biased judge present a question to a candidate that ask for a personal opinion and then criticize her for the answer because it isn't politically correct in his opinion. He then in a childish, immature, self-serving, derogatory attitude label her a b.... And to top this off the biased news media drags her through the mud because of this so called contraversial answer. Give us a break!!! It's obvious where the news media stands.

I just read a comment about judjing. For those of you who are not familiar with the Bible. God has already judged homosexuality. Just as he has those who commit adultery, murder, lie, covet, drunkeness, hatred, etc. The only one he called an abomination was homosexuality. So to quote the bible is not "judging." The reason peoples hearts are so hardened to God is because belief and trust will require something of them. A conscience, and a changed life.
