- What Jon Voight said.
Obama is a shady person, looks like a Marxist to me,
Will not help the average citizen unless they are socialist.
He will bring about the "United States Socialist Republic" - Reply to this comment

- I wish these writers had a better command of English and would check their spelling. For example, it''s "from" and not "form". And "gotten" is a stupid and illiterate verb. It''s a lazy verb. To all writers: If you want to be taken seriously, learn to spell and use proper grammar. After all, English is the language you are serving here. Try to show some respect for it and for us. Otherwise, get another job.

- I would like to ask why, if you believe your argument here is so compelling, U.N. authorization for the invasion of Iraq was not attained, particularly when the consequences make the perpetrating U.N. charter members, the United States and Great Britian and their LYING SOCIOPATHIC leaders guilty of crimes against peace and other war crimes?
See the problem is when you commit a crime against the world, the world looks at you and your rationalizations with a straight-jacket in mind. If they can afford to give you sympathy -- in the case of America, this country (or at least it''''s future taxpayers and citizens) haven''''t even begun to pay the price, and we don''''t have a lot of friends around the world right now.
It would really help a great deal if we just turned Bush over to the U.N. for justice, and we insisted on it ourselves, as an act of preservation for the common good.

Thanks for the good post! It is more interesting when someone has a counterpoint instead of insults. - Reply to this comment

The U.N is a joke! Look how well they are doing across the world, Darfur (another Jihad), Lebanon (another jihad), Corrupt U.N. workers standing at attention for traded prisoners who killed for jihad. Let''s not forget the "oil for food scandal" with Kofi''s son neck deep in it, the "French" didn''t help because they were on the make too, Saddam was buying their vote with "oil". The true terror using oil to buy off governments, starving and torturing his people. France is our friend again because their President recognized the real people on the make during Saddam''s reign. Our house leader and her follower''s won''t do anything because they are the ones who created the shambles of our image. They were busy bees buzzing around the world spreading their hate of Bush, the media 2nd that. Wow, diminish on honorable mission into an evil intent with "hollywood" flair. Yep, it worked, they hate us. - Reply to this comment
- An old *** supporting an older ***. At 53 I am glad I will not turn into a bitter, biased, racist neocon as I get older! It feels very good not to be like them!

- Grandpa Voight needs to get a grip. We cannot have anymore Republicans running this country ever again. The thought of McCain becoming president is enough to give me night terrors. The entire United States will be suffering from post traumatic stress disorder after Bush leaves office. NOBODY could be worse than Bush, except maybe McCain.

- American, in their ignorance, would rather elect a black man who MIGHT represent change rather than a white woman with many years of good service to her country%u2013simply because she represents the status quo. However, Americans would rather elect an old fuddy duddy, bigoted, right wing Christ believer than a black man. John Voight can have his opinion, but it''s not his daughter who is sounding paranoid right now%u2014it''s him! If anything, the Republican party is again the party of right wing Christian fundamentalists and Zionists. So long as they remain in power, the rest of us are doomed.
