paris' dad rick is planning a big bash after she's released!! good Heavens, no wonder his daughter is such trash - what a stupid idea - they should all have a family meeting when she's released and talk things over and start living a better, cleaner & healthier lifestyle. money they have - oh, and class they have. . .it's just all low.

Well, we have proof now that Paris got her stupidity from her parents or at least one of them anyway. Her only claim to fame is PARTYING. That is why people hate her so much. So WHY would he have a big party with drinking? Isn't that what got her into trouble in the first place? The way I see it is, she should not show up to the party OR maybe daddy should have the party TOTALLY ALCOHOL FREE.
Better yet, I think her coming out of jail should be done as quietly as possible. Of course with the media that would be next to impossible. She should go home and not be seen or heard from for awhile. She needs to get her sh-t together, also people need a break from her so the less people have to see or hear from her for awhile, the better.

PS Kind of a sign her parents haven't provided much guidance - her sister Nikki's sort of tried to earn herself an honest living by designing clothes and opening up a hotel of her own in Miami, but both businesses have been a flop . . . somebody should have suggested she go to design school or business school or do an apprenticeship under somebody with experience . . . the Hilton's seem to think that just because they put their name on something people are going to eat it up.

Maybe Candy Spelling will send Paris a letter too - who else was she trying to provide guidance to? People might not like Tori, but I think she seems to have turned out okay given her background . . .

Paris' daddy is a spoiled brat too who seems to want to make a statement that the LA county criminal justice system can't get the best of him and his family.

I feel like this is more about him and his need to want to prove that he can do anything he wants than what's in the best interest of his daughter. It sounds like she was going through withdrawal those first couple of days in jail (couldn't sleep - needed her sleeping pills, panic attacks - needed her downers (valium and booze), 'ADD' - needed her uppers (Adderol - a cocaine derivative)). It also sounds like she/her PR people are trying to change her image by calling Babs and saying 'she's not dumb', 'she wants to change' blah blah.

I think if Paris is really serious about changing she ought to give up the limelight/partying and do the complete opposite - humanitarian work in a 3rd world country. Lose the fake blue contacts, the hair extensions, the shopping. None of this 'building a doll house for kids' - rubbish!

If her father goes through with this, then he should be smacked across the face for being an enabler, throwing a party in Sin City isn't something that should be done. I believe that she will be better off letting her just fading into the society as a humanitarian like she said she wants to. Bashing her constantly only shows the shallowness of the people bashing her, putting them in the same boat as she was in for being so shallow.

I read where people are sick and tired of all the attention, but you should see that you are prolonging the attention by commenting on her, rather than just going on to the next story. She is getting the attention from mostly people that are tired of it.

I read an article in Glamour (lol) that speculated that part of the reason Paris, Lindsay, and Britney are so popular because they're like the antithesis of Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Oprah, etc. Like girls who don't feel like they couldn't ever accomplish what Hillary, Nancy, and Oprah have can instead open up a People magazine and think well, maybe I'll never be rich and famous but at least I can go to the mall and buy the same sunglasses that Paris was wearing and have that little bit of glamour right now.

It's frustrating to think that more girls might identify with Paris and Britney than Oprah or Nancy because Paris has the maturity of a 12 year old :(

Yeah, I feel like she's just saying what her PR people have told her people want to hear because she's trying to extend her 15 minutes of fame. But everything that comes out of her mouth just sounds so shallow. I wouldn't be surprised if she does try to 'give back' to the community when she gets out, but I think people are already have a good sense of what she's really about . . .

Dang. I wish we all had parents that would celebrate their children for getting out of jail after having committed a SERIOUS crime.

On the plus side, the relentless media likes to tell us her every move. So when she does something ungodly, we'll all get to hear about it, some 60 days from now.
