There are several thing's I don't like about the E Eig. One is the taste, and my tongue being brown. The charger is a pain, especially when you need a hit of nicotine. The cost here at 7-11, the only place I could find them is way too high, 20 bucks for the starter and 15 for refill kits. But I will say that it did make it easier to quit those nasty horrible cigarettes! However, hey, your still addicted to nicotine guys! Now you have to taper off the E-Cig, if that's your goal. Nicotine causes all kinds of health problems too.

I love my electronic cigarette. I purchased it about 3 months ago and have become completely free from tobacco. It satisfies my nicotine cravings and the physical addiction I have to actually smoking.

That whole "free country" bit doesn't even come close to addressing the matter of whether e-cigs should be banned from the U.S. The U.S. may be a "free country" but those civil rights do not mean you're "free" to do whatever the heck you want. If you want the freedom to do whatever than you should be taking the necessary steps to keep yourself informed. And how are you supposed to do that if you're not given all the details? We have these rules in place for a reason and if the FDA says it's bad for you, generally, I'd believe them. Granted the FDA has taken part in some bad activity (trying to address the obesity issue in the U.S. and then turning around and shelling out millions for the dairy industry to market cheese - remember the stuffed crust from pizza hut? that's your FDA money at work) but all in all if someone's telling you something is bad for your health, you should at least look into it and not just tell them to bug off because you have your "freedom" of choice.
I always said I would never smoke cigarettes but here I am 8 years later (I'm 24) and trying to quit for the first time. The tobacco industry has made it extremely appealing to smoke cigarettes and this appeal ropes in more and more people every day. Once you start, it's hard to stop and that's how they keep you. I'm glad to finally have an alternative to cigarettes and yes I am worried about how it might affect my health but what I do know is that I'm not inhaling the toxins I KNOW are in cigarettes. Could e-cigs be any worse? Probably not.

If the FDA and gov. can not make money like they do on cigs and Meds then they will say it is bad. they have to have their hands in everything.
Check out Valcano E-cigs they are in hawaii and are inspected.

I used to smoke--and had a significantly easier time losing and maintaining my weight when I did--and I don't want to regain my old nicotine addiction (it was quite difficult to quit). The idea of the e-cigarette is really intriguing, especially since some of you have inferred there is a non-nicotine vapor available. Can anyone shed light on that? Or am I better off just being a fat non-smoker? I loved smoking, by the way, but none of the normal side effects and social issues.

Go to the Web-site Valcano E-Cig and purchase the interno kit with what ever flavor you want. they send you a 15ml bottle of liquid which is about a carton of cigs. The best flavors I have found to be a hit with everyone is the Vanilla Bean, and the coffee. You well be impressed. I have been smoking for 34 years and after trying this product I quit, I now have a store front with this product. That is how much I beleave in it. Yes I could of gotten the joy. But after doing my research Valcano it the best product. Good Luck

I never thought I would be able to quit smoking. I have tried and failed so many times. This was my last resort since I tried cold turkey, patches, gum, chantex, hypnotism, laser and anything else I could to quit. I called http://smoke-light.com and spoke to a wonderful lady who helped me get started. A few months later I switched to the Joye 510 on her recommendation. She told me it was her favorite. I love this e-cigarette. I haven't smoked for the last 6 months.

Overall some guy stating the unknown about something and pushing the fact not fda approved is a waist of a good article the FDA is the most crooked u.s entity out there they outlaw imported drugs that really work because of the fact there not u.s. made or cheaper alternatives to u.s made brands, they approve alot of drugs that turn out to have dire consequences and they don't even regulate properly within our own country just look at television any time of the day for 1 of the thousands of quick fixes drugs they push free trials claiming proven and safe just to blurt out how many ways it will kill you and all the extra unrelated problems they bring and notice the fine print if u got Tivo none of these tv adds drugs are approved by the fda but they still advertise and sell or even worste give out free trials using ppl as like lab animals just to see the results to be healthy in this country u have to read between the lines study for yourself and completely write off the FDA on the subject of drugs they should only be name FA if that because this new gentically enhanced this and that is also causing side effects and issues but thats a whole other deal...

I agree, I ordered my kit a month ago from slaminvape and I have saved over $200 already, and have not touched a cigarette since. It has saved my life, I dont care if its approved or not, I know it helped me. I would have never been able to stop smoking if it wasnt for seeing someone in a bar with one of these and me asking questions.

I agree with most of these comments from REAL people. Tobacco is one of the highest products for US revenue. I'm not going to get into how the government should or does not want a cure for the smoking disease, or the fact that testing should have been done by now....not being sure if this is safe is the effin dumbest excuse I ever heard. Im not about to use the gum, patch, or any psychotic pill. I ordered my e cig after a bit of research, and this is SWEAR TO GOD, the first time in my horrible smoking years I feel 100 percent sure I will quit. This product has saved me tons of money, I feel like I am not a slave to a cigarette on an hourly basis, and I recommend it highly! Its worth it, because within one week of using the e cig, I know I will be weaning down to the ZERO nicotine vapor within a month. SMOKERS WE HAVE BEEN SAVED from the tobacco slave drivers, if you are looking for a way to QUIT (Im not talking about the pleasure factor, purely as a means to an end) you will not be disappointed.
