And there is no mention of the father? Was he a "frozen pop?" I cannot imagine having that many children with no father in their lives. I disagree with taking the children away from their mother, but agree that she really needs some help, and not hand-outs. Can you imagine being this woman''s mother when her daughter came home and said, "Thanks for letting me and my 6 kids live here, Mom. Oh by the way, I am expecting 7 more(as the 8th was a surprise)". My husband and I stopped at 3 because the cost of raising a child is climbing everyday. My tax dollars at work, taking care of someone who is too selfish to think of what they are doing to themselves, their family and the children brought into the world.

Her mother Angela Suleman said that once Nadya comes home she is gone,her mother is caring for the 6 Nadya already has. She has also said she has not been supportive of any of this fertility stuff at all and said that Nadya didnt want to get married.She should not be allowed to get a free paid ride on this. NO WAY! Im really mad about this whole situation. How many of you work hard to just support your small family? Nayda is suppose to be highly educated with a 2006 degree in child and adolescent development from California State University.Did she not study!!! Where is she going to be when the free Pampers stop coming. Already several psychologist see her has having problems. Where id DCS when you need them. Nadya Suleman now has 14 children, the oldest is only 7 and one is autistic.. This lady has some serious issues and the fertility clinic that did this should be shut down. Naday has obsessive-compulsive disorder on having children and thats not a good reason to bring any child into this world.already several psychologist have spoke up against what she has done. Nadya''s family said she didnt exspect to have as many as she had this go around. Um when you do it the way she did more than not your going to have more then 1. Nadya refused to abort any of the embryos when finding out at the time they thought was 7. This is a lady that has been obsessed with having children since she was a teenager according to her mom. A woman that use to help care for Nadya''s autistic son asked her how can you care for all these children and nadya replied back, " i get paid for this".

Ah, our tax money at work. I know whose 14 children I''ll be supporting, in addition to my 3. My family stopped having children when we knew we could no longer afford to raise more. I guess this woman thinks the American taxpayer will be happy to foot her bill. Shame on her, shame on the doctors who implanted a litter of children into her uterus.

It seems like child abuse to have so many children when she can''t afford the ones she has, especially in this time of economic hardship. Who gets to pay for school for these children? How will they get to have higher education? Maybe children''s services should give some of these children to couples, who can''t have children. And ... what does it say to the population, if she gets to become famous and rich and have a lovely big house for her family, because she chooses to have too many children. Someone (I think it was her mother.) said it is an obsession of hers. Doesn''t ''obsession'' imply ''needing psychological help''?

Any birth of a baby is a miracle. But knowingly bringing in 8 more babies when you have so many at home is what? Does this mother have an obsession with just being a new mom then when the baby stage is gone she maybe done? I feel she should put these babies up for adoption to people who can not have children and would be able to give those children what they need. LOVE- being a mom to 5 with two of those mine and three I adopted from a previous marriage, I can tell you showing love to each child can be hard to give everywhere it is needed. Would really love to know what is going thru this womans head.
Please, please think about doing what is right and make families where there might not be a chance for one. There are other ways to gain fame and being in the lime light such as what I suggested. Make your fame by making other families a family of their own. Then TIE those tubes. You do not need any other babies.

I doubt anyone will want their names or companies etc. linked to this fiasco. But I agree; Dr Phil would probably love to get her on his show.

I read in the Times Online UK article that both Oprah and Diane Sawyer plan to talk to this mother this week. Do us a favor ladies and DON''T! The article says she wants to become a diaper or other product endorser and get money and free goods to help raise the children, hoping for a $2m bailout of her own! This is not a woman who wants babies who could not have them. This is a woman who wants money and fame for this! I won''t be watching either Oprah or Diane talk to her. Maybe I would watch Dr. Phil ask her what she was thinking when she did this stupid, selfish thing!

Seriously.. first of all if she could afford to care and nurture her children then the situation wouldn''t be in the news. The reason it''s in the news is because she obviously can''t afford, nor take care of the 2+baseball team''s. We should be taxed for our kids, and each one over the second should have a greater percentage tacted on to each one over that. The doctor who was responsible for this woman giving birth to 8 babies, he should have to pay to feed them, diapers and the health care for the rest of their lives. This was in fact a criminal act to do something of this nature, knowing that this woman has 6 children. The taxpayers will have a big bill here, and the Americans are hollering about the economy. She is interested already in doing interviews and sees dollar signs.

If you%u2019re going to base your facts on Perez Hiltons blogs then you could believe Michelle is pregnant. In the meantime women of her age do have healthy and successful pregnancies although I doubt she is really considering having another baby.

I think that if they could feed, clothe and care for these kids without public assistance, she would not have filed bankruptcy and walk away from payment on a home. To djeanne3 - it is not the responsibility of the older children to take care of the younger children. That is the mothers job.

Unfortunately, when a woman considers herself to be a breeding machine, she often does little else except have babies and leaves the majority of child rearing to others. This is a syndrome and though we say nothing we people like Angelina Jolie does it (she wants more, but Doctors tell her that her body cannot handle it), we have a duty and right to say something about a person who has little means, files bankruptcies and may well tax our Welfare, Health care and insurance systems due to her illness.

No way can any woman provide adequate love and attention to 14 children at the same time (even Jolie has nannies for her kids) this means, these women are not having babies for the baby''s sake, they are having babies to fulfill some neurosis within themselves. Some women love the attention and accolades they get when pregnant--to the point that they want to stay pregnant all the time.
