- Sometimes the truth is stranger than even a conspiracy theorist''s imaginings.
The post suggesting that "Michael Rovito'' is some sort of imposter piqued my interest, so I checked it out with a Google search.
A short trip to the Great Gazoogle turns up two completely separate individuals named "Michael Rovito", with different educational backgrounds, employment history, and residences. I''ll label them Michael Rovito A and Michael Rovito B;
Michael Rovito A is indeed a reporter for the "Mat-Su Valley Frontiersman."
Michael Rovito B is a researcher involved in "ethnic studies, minority health disparities, immigration, the use of GIS in public health applications." His bio is connected to "BITS -- Building Information Technology Skills Among North Philadelphia Youth." Michael Rovito B is apparently a resident of Philadelphia, PA.
Below are the websites I accessed.

- Did a graduate student named Michael Rovito really engage Palin in dialog? Or was he a plant, and if so, by whom?
A Michael Rovito writes for the MAT-SU FRONTIERSMAN, a Wasilla, Alaska paper. That cannot be a coincidence!
Take a look at these Rovito-attributed pieces.

The dates of the articles don''t quite make sense either, if you compare them with the comments attached to the articles.

- Is it just me, or does anyone else find it antithetical to the diplomatic process to be quoted time-after-time referring to our adversaries as "the guys" and, even worse, the "good guys" & the "bad guys" -- even McCain called them the "bad guys" last night during the Presidential Debate. Please -- this over-simplification insults the intelligence of the U.S. electorate and perpetuates the international perception that Americans are egocentric, egotistical and ignorant. Can you for one minute hear Condoleesza Rice calling them the "good guys" & "bad guys"? Pitiful.

- She has no idea what''s going on in any of the "stans"... she''s just repeating Bush''s platitudes about "fighting them over there so we don''t have to fight them over here". This woman is incapable of original thought

- My wife says this is one BIG sexism play of McShame and his party. Palin has been used and abused as a "money tree" for McShame. She feels sorry for Palin although she doesn''''t like her.

- McCain your running mate just doesn''t understand what she''s talking about. But since now Palin, Obama and the Bush administration think we should attack Al Qaeda within Pakistan maybe you are not the one who understands Bin Laden was the one who attacked us on 9/11.
