Comments on: Poll: Public Does Not Want Torture Probe
CBS News/N.Y. Times Survey: Most Say Waterboarding Is Torture, But Disagree With Calls For Congressional Investigation
- I want a probe of everything evil that our past president and vice president did. They wanted war - they got war. They wanted torture - they got torture. They wanted rich to be richer - rich got richer. Republicans who are so say christian, so say honest, so say with integrity, so say conservative have a lot to answer for for supporting Bush and Cheney and their criminal actions.

- Only whacko crazy leftist want to go down the path of political prosecutions and possible political prisoners in he United States of American. Although, even I think it would be fun to get Nancy Pelosi and other leading democrats to testify under oath about what they were told and when. When even the NYT was reporting in 2005 that water boarding had been used to get information to save American lives does anybody believe Nancy Pelosi when she says she heard no evil, saw no evil, spoke no evil. How someone can bald faced lie like that to the American people is amazing!!!!

- I dont care what the poll says; the law is not a matter of opinion. Torture is against the law in domestic and international law.
It is striking how many people dont want to know about our use of torture, but also think it is justified.
The ever insulting influence of the superficial viewpoints of the military-industrial complex is also striking. Trying ever so desperately and endlessly to control the opinions of the people and those in power, so that we too will be Americans that are stupid enough to shoot first and not ask questions at all, accept those questions with answers we hope to hear gurgled through the voice box of some water suffocating prisoner. I suppose Republicans are proud of us torturing people?
We Americans tortured people LOOKING for a justification to invade IRAQ. Now 4100+ US service men and women are dead and countless Iraqi civilians because Bush Inc. needed to get some oil and give Halliburton something to do. I can't believe that some Americans are OK with that. Talk about spending....how about a trillion+ tax dollars down the drain for some failed corporate hacks.
Republicans have become Marxists, in the sense that they support propping up our economy with constant defense spending.
The Blue Sky Tribe has not left the building......but they do want you to hate somebody. - Reply to this comment
