That is not his job ! The Senators are supposed to do that. Instead, the Republicans are just playing games and being obstructionists. - Reply to this comment

Isn''''t $400 MILLION the BASE SALARY of Rush Limbaugh?
Posted by homespunlady at 11:21 PM : Feb 05, 2009,
Is that his base salary? If so I would say he is overpaid by $ 399,960,000 per year!
I mean do people actually pay that blowhard to spin up his BS? - Reply to this comment
- Fannie and freddie and their wallstreet buddies should never have been bailed out. The community reinvestment act and every corrupt policy that goes with it should be trashed. I don''t believe in bailing out any poorly run program or business.

What was more worrisome to me was it verified a study I found in the early 90''s that predicted this based on a statistical analysis paper by someone I believe from someone from India.
The gist of it dealt with what''s called the "wealth gap". He found the tipping point for the economic collapse of countries and empires back through history was dependent on the RATIO of wealth held by the top percentages and at the time Johnson wrote that article we had already PASSED the danger point for a downturn and the wider that gap got the WORSE the collapse would be.
Based on his findings we''re beyond serious and in crisis.

- It only took a trillion dollar "trojan horse" to bring Obama''s poll numbers down. After a year of socialism (taxes and loss of freedoms), Obama''s poll numbers will be about even with Bush''s.
