"...Of those polled, 10% said they would not reenlist, and 14% reported they would consider not reenlisting if the policy is changed to please homosexual activists..." Posted by qwerty2009

Let us say for the moment that your assertion is true, it then means that for those who won''t re-enlist, avoiding g*ay people is more important to them than protecting the country, as it seems to be for you, and so any point you, or they have to make on the subject of defense is nothing but an exercise in hypocrisy.

Bush inherited a federal budget that had just posted a record $236 BILLION SURPLUS. And on his watch it was ALL squandered %u2013 all $236 BILLION of it!

But he and his corrupt cabal of Greedy Oily Predators didn%u2019t stop there.

The recently completed 2008 budget year registered a DEFICIT of a RECORD $455 BILLION, and the 2009 deficit is sure to be far worse %u2013 the latest estimate is $1.2 TRILLION.

Bush and his Republican congress operated unopposed for six years of the most profligate spending in American history, unhampered by any ability of the Democrat minority to slow their destructive spree.

The flood of red ink has almost doubled the national debt during Bush''s tenure in office. The gross debt was $5.8 trillion in 2001, but now registers $10.7 trillion. And interest payments on the debt cost $451 billion in 2008.

Bush and his cronies have been the most corrupt coterie of economic predators ever to have haunted U.S. government. They make Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan look like kindergarten bullies shaking down classmates for lunch money.

They didn''t fail at anything. Everything they sought, they got. They even pulled off a wholesale raid of the U.S. Treasury -- the greatest bank job in world history!

The past eight years has seen the most successful transfer of wealth ever perpetrated, all of it stolen from the United States of America, and poured into the offshore accounts of the mega-rich corporate cronies who put these grinning crooks in the White House to begin with.

They succeeded in all they set out to do. They failed at nothing. And they''re taking it all with them.

Amazing that anyone''s even attempting to impose any consequences at this point, as broken and inept as our government has become. But good luck prosecuting. These scambags are masters at covering their tracks.

We, the People, will recover nothing from these lost years of treachery. Zero. Zip. Not one red Lincoln cent.

Bush and his crew of NeoConArtist scambags have had their filthy fingers in every scandalous failure that led us to the debacle we''re now suffering in this stricken nation. And anyone voting for these ossified hacks is every bit as bad. They chumped rural and religious simpletons into voting for them, but they don''t represent Third Millennium America. Not in the least bit.

So be gone, you parasitic pirates. Eat yourselves. Die of old age.

We The People just put a truly good and decent man in office, and it had nothing to do with his race, creed, religious viewpoint or sexual identity. He''s simply the best American we''ve got for the nearly impossible task at hand -- undoing the cataclysmic damage your ilk has wrought.

You and your pathetic chimp get packing. Hit the bricks. Try working real jobs, for a change.

Tell your story walking. Sing your pathetic swansongs with your greasy lobbyists and corrupt cohorts at your drunken parties, smarmy conventions, and incestuous corporate fundraisers.

Don''t dream that you represent anything but yourselves anymore, if indeed you ever did. You RapePublicCons are all bygone history. Ugly American history.

Don''t let the door hit you where the dog should have bit you.

Bye now, dipshits!

He failed in energy policy
He failed in environment
He failed in education
He lost us the respect in the world
And his economic policy was a disaster
Oh...and what are we left with - a cowboy, jingoistic foriegn policy to prove to his daddy that he was a big man. Gore could have dealt better with Osama and Iraq on an off day. Yes, Bush was/is an unmitigated disaster.

George W. Bush ranks with Millard Fillmore and Warren G. Harding as the most inept U.S. presidents ever, and with Ulysses S. Grant and Richard Nixon as the most corrupt.

Every business he''s ever exercised any judgment over has failed miserably. He became POTUS by chumping rural and religious simpletons into handing him and his oily cronies oversight of the most noble political endeavor in human history -- this great liberal democracy, the United States of America -- which he came close to crippling in just eight years.

History will treat this buffoon no kinder than his worst critics today. The extent of the damage he and his cohorts have wrought, here and worldwide, has just begun to be fully realized.

Let me ask you this...did Bush really fail or did the media tell you that?

Posted by nohope09 at 12:41 PM : Jan 17, 2009

Oh my God - how deep in denial are you people? One look at the nation and the economy tells any sane person what they need to know about Bush''s term in office.

I know conservatives get off on being victims of the "librul media" but to think that Bush''s failure is a matter of perception hoisted on the nation by the media is as pathetic as it is moronic. Have you Bush apologists no shame whatsoever?
