- thought many of those terrorist on 9/11 were from Saudi Arabia? Should we not attack Saudi Arabia?
And what is the end state in Afghanistan?
It seems a surety that we will end up just like Iraq with countless numbers of casualties and money spent. If that is what you want then sign-up to head over there.

Well, if we are pursuing THOSE THAT ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR 9/11, Bin Laden and AlQaeda, then we should continue and increase our focus on Afghanstan, where Bin Laden and AlQaeda are operating.
It seems that you would rather that those that are responsible for 9/11 not be held accountable for their actions. Using the same logic, one could come to the conclusion that you would not have supported the U.S. retaliating when Japans attack on Pearl Harbor. Our nation can not exist in a world where our enemies are allowed to attack us with impunity..... - Reply to this comment
- I''''m one of 58 million who aren''''t optimistic. Please stop taking your polls in the ghetto. Those military personel died for a purpose in Iraq ActionNow1. What is your purpose for living in America?

And now Obama wants to fan the flames of war higher in Pakistan and Afghanistan. We need warmongers out of office. Obama is the same as Bush. Praise him

The truth about ALL wars is that they are meant to ENRICH those that START them.
Those that FINANCE the wars KEEP them going until there is no longer any PROFIT to them.
We have technology that can read license plates from space so obviously it is MORE profitable to keep the BOGEYMAN Bin Laden free and when it is NO LONGER PROFITABLE he (or his death) will be paraded out like a prize similar to Saddam Hussein (who we''ve long forgotten along with our humanity).
Gotta keep those POPPY FIELDS safe so there''s a secure supply of VIAGRA (one of it''s main active ingredients is a derivative of that plant). - Reply to this comment
- Well, we went to war in Afghanistan to avenge the 9/11 attacks and to bring those responsible for 9/11 to justice. Would you rather we not respond with deadly force to those that attack us???? Its a mean world out there, we cant afford to sustain attacks from our enemies without a swift and deadly response. The country has to protect itself, and its the presidents primary duty to see that America is protected.

Warmongering is the way to bring about peace? Defending ourselves does not mean invading other countries. How much are you willing to spend to fight wars in Afghanistan and Pakistan? Obama and Bush are the same. - Reply to this comment

- Did you see that while everyone was focused on the $700 billion Bailout the Treasury Dept. dropped Section 382 of the IRS code and now banks are out of paying about $140 billion in taxes...

Like probably 99 percent of the US - I missed that little giveaway tidbit but that''s the point of Smoke and mirrors. It apparently worked very well for this TAX GIVEAWAY to the profiteers.
Wasn''t it an ELITE European Banking Baron that said something like "give me control over a nation''s money and I care NOT who or what rules that nation"?
We really stepped in the feces when we handed over final and complete control of our economy to the foxes that have been raiding the hen house.
Now, it will be near impossible to take back that control - IF there''s anyone with enough brains left in this country to REALIZE and SEE the DANGER that is right in front of our faces. - Reply to this comment
