Obama has made some laudable points, but how does it all get paid? He claims Americans are unskilled (lacking Bachelors'' degrees) but college tuition skyrockets each year. Worse, many of these jobs pays only $10/hr. How can people afford to pay that back and still live better than a pauper? This isn''t 1955 anymore, when one could get educated, work, and still have money to save AND some individual freedom to breathe too.

There''s also an old techrepublic.com article discussing the myth of college; if everybody had a college degree then we''d all have jobs and be prosperous... which we all know isn''t true either. I''ve got to find that link...

Best to follow exactly the opposite of Rowdy''s advice. Treat her like Hogan did advice from Col.Klink.

"I didn''t know which was the correct [choice]. But I was sure you would pick the wrong one."

Yeah, screw it. I''m with you.

Who am I kidding? The republicans have ruined this country. We''re the laughing stock of the entire world (except for the rednecks who shop at Wal-Mart).

I''m voting for Obama too. Trickle down economics are a complete disaster. Want to know why? GREED. Human beings are fundamentally greedy and always f%$# each other.

Obama has superior intelligence and dignity. God Bless Him. Tomorrow we begin the LONG LONG LONG haul of reversing the damage of the Bush years.

Now... redneck fools... go back to NASCAR. watch the colors fly around the track... you''re getting sleepy. very sleepy.... buy some mcdonalds. watch the jeff foxworthy show... shop at walmart... you''re getting sleepy, very very sleepy.... now....

go...
away...
forever...

It is no ise trying to talk the sense to Dems and Libs, they hate Freedom.

They hate Freedom.

They spit on the soldiers who die for it every day.

Dems and Libs have one thing they do, and that is to cheat (Monica Lewinsky anyone?) and lay with other men (Insane Francisco anyone?)

Is there a reason all the good, decent folk in America are Republicans? Yes. There is. It is His way.

Excuse me no. My father was drafted during Viet Nam, he was a soldier. I would never spit on a soldier. But I have the right to my choice just as much as you do even if it differs.

You must have forgotten your history. This country was born of dissent..

And here''s ANOTHER reason the BUSH/CHENEY Whitehouse can''t get "their man" elected:

By DAVID CAY JOHNSTON
Published: December 15, 2007

"The INCREASE in incomes of the top 1 percent of Americans from 2003 to 2005 EXCEEDED THE TOTAL INCOME of the poorest 20 percent of Americans, data in a new report by the Congressional Budget Office shows.

The poorest fifth of households had total income of $383.4 billion in 2005, while JUST THE INCREASE in income for the top 1 percent came to $524.8 billion, a figure 37 percent higher.

The total income of the top 1.1 million households was $1.8 trillion, or 18.1 percent of the total income of all Americans, up from 14.3 percent of all income in 2003. The total 2005 income of the three million individual Americans at the top was roughly EQUAL to that of the bottom 166 million Americans, analysis of the report showed.

Earlier reports, based on tax returns, showed that in 2005 the top 10 percent, top 1 percent and fractions of the top 1 percent ENJOYED THEIR GREATEST SHARE of income since 1928 and 1929."

It''s a WARNING that went unheeded - and the PAULSON CARTEL are STILL busily lining the pockets of their CRONIES rather than aiding the REST OF THE US!!!
