The top 1% of wealthiest Americans now have a collective wealth of $19 Trillion dollars. The other three hundred million plus Americans have a collective wealth of $17 Trillion dollars. The top 1% saw an increase of income of 20% between 1946 and 1976. Between 1976 and 2006 the top 1% saw an increase of income of 232%! Those figures are a result of laws to favor the wealthy, tax loop holes, tax benefits for companies that move to foreign countries in order to increase profits because of low wages and no environmental controls---the table has been tilted to favor the wealthy. John McCain says that we should continue that policy. Since 1968 six of nine pres terms went republican. Since the republicans have dominated the political scene, 95% of Americans have now seen a decrease in income while at the same time the top 1% saw that 232% increase in income. Our jobs, homes and health insurance are gone. This is what the republican party has wrought. They have mesmerized us into making themselves and their wealthy friends ever richer while the rest of the country founders. THEY CAN''''''''T DO IT TO US IF WE DON''''''''T VOTE FOR THEM. THEY HAVE LEFT A GIGANTIC MESS. BARACK OBAMA WILL WORK TO CORRECT THE PROBLEMS, BUT WE MUST GIVE HIM THE TOOLS HE NEEDS TO DO THE JOB. VOTE FOR DEMOCRATIC SENATORS AND CONGRESSMEN. The balance has been lost and the pendulum must swing back the other way if we are to restore our economy.

Obama Supporters: Let''s hope in the process but take nothing for granted! We must all be vigilant at the polls today! If anyone sees evidence of election fraud or voter suppresion make sure to contact The Raw Story Election Fraud Reporting Hotline so that all incidents are documented 1-866-our vote or 1-866-my vote1. Also notify any poll watchers who may be present as well as the media. We know Barack is significantly ahead in all the major polls but that doesn''t mean that McCain and the GOP won''t try to steal the election as happened in 2000. Be especially cynical of any reports of McCain ''just edging out'' Obama for the victory, especially if it''s in the wee, wee hours of the morning when everyone is asleep----My point is that It''s highly improbable/unlikely that McCain can win this election at all, considering all the poll(s) numbers Obama is putting up coupled with the fact that we supporters will indeed be putting out the vote! Also, go to www.LibertytreeFDR.org and sign the pledge to join the Nov.,5 peaceful, nation-wide pro-democracy,voter assembly protests in the event this stolen election scenario actually plays out. No More Stolen Elections! God Bless You one and all and pass the word around!

In Virginia, a notice found at several polling places this morning reads, "an "emergency regulation" was adopted by the Virginia General Assembly saying all Democratic supporters vote on Wednesday.

Two forms of lies: 1. I say you look great today, when you really look like c.r.a.p. 2. I say there are WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION right next door. As a result, you go next door and kill your neighbor. I then say "oops", I lied. Which lie do you prefer?

No it''s wrong in BOTH circumstances.

But why was Clinton impeached for his "lie", and Bush wasn''t?

Regardless, the next president will just do a Bush soundbite: Executive privilege

And when the court rules against him he will say: so?
