McCain wants to give $200 billion in tax cuts to corporations and 2 billion in tax cuts to oil corporations, this while hard working Middle Class Americans struggle to put food on the table.

what''s wrong pcreversed? you don''t mind black people voting only if they vote for someone who isn''t black? that''s as stupid as calling you racist because you WON''T vote for Barack Obama. Although, I really do think you''re racist...and i think you''re stupid too.

McCain quote:

"I don%u2019t understand how the economy works, I%u2019ve got to get a V.P. that will show me how it works."

Palin, McCain''s V.P. choice, simply doesn''t fill the hole in McCain''s admitted economic "bucket".

Both FOX and CNN polls show 3% & 5% ... Gallup shows 7% ... why is it that the CBS/NYT poll always has higher numbers favoring obama??

The $250k number refers to households (i.e. "families"). The $200k number refers to individuals. You may be aware that tax bands for individuals differ from those for married couples.

After 8 years of Bushonomics, there won''t be hardly anyone making $250,000/yr.

The needless war in Iraq drags on, the economy is the worst its been in 75 years, and it IS the Republicans fault. You''d have to be a *** to vote for McCain and his airhead running mate!

Until they poll 300 million of us, I won''t give such polls complete credibility. Having talked with various people today, I would say Obama''s margin IS narrowing.

And even others say both candidates are weak; leaving them unenthusiastic or apathetic.

First he was only going to increase taxes for people making more than $250,000, now it is $200,000. I wonder where that number will be after the election, if he wins. That may sound okay to you but what happens when your employer has to pay higher taxes, he will lay off people so he can keep more of his money. Is that layed off person going to be you???

Yet others say the tax burden has been shifted TO the middle class over the last few decades.

It''s also unsustainable, the quest for the lowest prices at the cost of quality and everything else. After a point, nothing else CAN go down; nobody else can pay. Whirlpool alluded to some of it in a commercial circa 1979... and these days, everybody seems to be whining about quality.

You know, I was JUST reading an article on CNN''s website that said that Obama''s lead was NARROWING. This is why polls are so freaking lame.
