Nice to see Barry up in the polls...again. And all the Neocons trying to push these close polls from AP and "ugh" IPD/TIPP poll. Go to fivethirtyeight.com and get a true intellectual opinion on the AP poll. And that IPD/TIPP poll? AHAHAHA. That poll has McCain breaking 74-22 among 18-24 year old voters. That is hilarious. The opposite is probably more likely. I was going to vote McCain before he picked Palin, but now? My GOD JOHN! Why oh Why didn''t you pick Mitt. He knows economics. He would have made a GREAT VP. And you would have had my vote. If only, if only.

If Obama wins, Liberals will control congress, no more checks and balances. Does that scare you.

Posted by wntrpls at 07:02 PM : Oct 23, 2008

Sure does! Just look what the GOP did when they controlled the House, Senate and Oval Office. The nation is in the dumpster thanks to these morons.

Which is one reason why Obama will win. You fools had your chance to run this nation unfettered, and you DROVE IT INTO THE GROUND!

It''s time to let the grownups run the nation again. GOP idiots who can only give tax cuts to the rich, start pointless wars (while borrowing money to pay for them both) deny global warming exists and shout 9/11 at the top of their lungs shouldn''t EVER be allowed to govern again.

Regardless of how emotional all of us feel about the Bush administration and the things that have gone wrong. This can not be used as an excuse to abandoned our values as America citizens and turn our back on our country at this time. Obama is inexperienced, he has a marxist ideology whether people like it or not. He is easily influenced by radicals. Just look at who he has associated with in the past. And to top it all he believes he is the Chosen One.. He has paid the media to sell propaganda like no other candidate in the history of our country. I have seen this happen before. Not in this country but in other countries facing difficult economic times.People get desperate and follow the lead of false leaders.. with empty promises.. Please don''t do this to our future...
He is nothing but false hope..... And he is dangerous. He lacks experience and strength of character.

"Politico reported that the Republican National Committee spent $150,000 to clothe and accessorize Palin since she was picked by McCain in late August. According to financial disclosure records, the bills include $75,063 at Neiman Marcus in Minneapolis and $49,426 at Saks Fifth Avenue in St. Louis and New York. The RNC also spent $4,716.49 on hair and makeup through September after reporting no such costs in August." (emphasis moi).
Hmmmm, I wonder how many untold hundreds of thousands were spent on that train wreck Michelle "Aunt Ester" horsefaced Obama?

''Such an image is unhelpful at this late stage of the general election, Republicans said, especially when many families are experiencing economic pain, and when the image applies to a candidate, like Ms. Palin, who has run for office in part on her appeal as an outdoors enthusiast and former small-town mayor who scorns pretensions.

Mr. Obama and his wife, Michelle, have been described as elitist by both Republicans and Democrats at times, and so much was made when she appeared on ''The View'' in June in a black-and-white patterned dress. Turns out it sold for $148 at an off-the-rack store.''

Let''''s step back a few years to the Presidential election between Democrat Jimmy Carter and Republican Ronald Reagan.

The economy was out of control with inflation and interest both in double digits.

Gas prices weren''''t too bad, but there just wasn''''t any gas to buy unless you waited for hours in long lines.

Foreign policy was in a shambles with American''''s lives being threatened in a Middle Eastern country.

At about this same date, Jimmy Carter led Ronald Reagan in many polls by as much as 16 points.

Republican Ronald Reagan is elected.

The lessons of history...

Obama makes Carter look like a conservative. Can we get more funding for ACORN obama. No problem, Democrats will control congress 100%, everything ACORN, FANNIE and FREDDY will be passed and Americans will suffer.

it ain''t over until it''s over and the fat lady sings. if mccain wins PA and OH, he has a good chance. no matter which ticket you support, you should donate as much money as you can to the ticket and volunteer to work on the campaign by going to local campaign headquarters or logging onto your ticket''s website. but, it ain''t over yet.

LETS PASS MORE ACORN PROGRAMS, WE NEED MORE COMMUNITY ORGANIZERS TO TERRORIZE BANKS. ELECT OBAMA AND THATS WHAT WILL GET.

If Obama wins, Liberals will control congress, no more checks and balances. Does that scare you. It does to me. Imagine all the Acorn type of programs they will pass with your tax dollars. Freedom of speech will be limited. We will go thru 4 years of HLL.

HERE IS WHAT AMERICANS WILL BE FACING IF BARACK OBAMA IS ELECTED - THE DARK AGES FOR AMERICA HAVE ALREADY STARTED!

PITTSBURGH TRIBUNE-REVIEW
Thursday, October 23, 2008:

"A knife-wielding man robbed a McCain-Palin campaign volunteer and etched a %u201CB%u201D into her face after he saw a McCain bumper sticker on the woman%u2019s car, Pittsburgh police said.

Ashley Todd, 20, of College Station, Texas, was using an ATM at Liberty Avenue and Pearl Street in Bloomfield just before 9 p.m. Wednesday when a man approached her, put a knife to her throat and demanded $60, police said.

Todd handed the man $60 she had in her pocket and stepped away from him, investigators said. The man then noticed the bumper sticker on the woman''''s car, which was parked in front of the ATM. The man became very angry, made comments to Todd about John McCain and punched her in the back of the head, knocking her to the ground, police said.

"He continued to kick and punch her repeatedly and said he would teach her a lesson for supporting John McCain," said police Chief Nate Harper."

Is this criminal a member Barack Obama''''s "Truth Squad"?

Meanwhile, the most recent Associated Press poll shows McCain with 43% and Obama with 44%. That would mean about 13% are either voting independent or are undecided.

"that he is a dangerous Marxist with a socialist agenda that could damage our capitalism-based economy for years to come"

you are kidding right? YOUR party has not exactly been un-radical, and have not exactly done a good job with the economy. This has been one of the most radical regimes in American history. Oh yeah, BTW, what YOUR party is doing by socialzing the financial market right now isn''t exactly a far stray from this radical socialism you speak.

You want more of the same, waste your vote on father christmas. More war, more debt, etc.... Time to clean it out. Maybe it wouldnt be at this stage had the republicans shown one ounce of accountability, and interest in the middle class.

Ever since this guy Barack Hussein Obama came on to the political scene, I''''ve believed, based on his history and having read his books, that he is a dangerous Marxist with a socialist agenda that could damage our capitalism-based economy for years to come. Now we learn that Team Obama is actually using Saul Alinsky''''s tactics detailed in his book "Rules for Radicals."

The real issue in the presidential election is: War or Peace. The American public does not need a senseless war, and that is why the old warrior will go down in defeat. The winner Obama grew up with anti-war friends, not socialist fanatics as falsely reported, and is a true peace candidate. But those whose profits are based on war will be closely watching him after he takes the role of president. If he attempts to dismantle the U.S. war machine there will be tremendous pressure put on him to cease and desist.

Defense contractors are not alone in their desire for war. They are supported by profit minded American based international corporations that need ever expanding markets for their products. Both were needed in one era to keep America prosperous, and are called the two horns of the Devil. But times have changed. Oversea markets can be opened and maintained by creating a product efficient nation that expands markets by peaceful means.

It will be an interesting presidency as Obama slowly puts the screws on the war mongers. The old warriors will not give up easy and will release fear producing propaganda. They will try to get Americans to believe that Goblins and Gremlins are everywhere. But if peace loving people become aware of, and stop bloody greed, the U.S. will continue being the wealthiest nation on Earth and a safer place to live in.

Out of idle curiosity: has ANYONE - you or anyone you know EVER been polled? I''m a registered voter - have been for about 30 years - I''ve lived in big cities and small towns. I''ve been employed and unemployed, a student, a mother, an employer... I have NEVER met anyone who has been polled and I have never been polled. I think we are being told ***. (hmmm just tried to post this comment - twice - but the publish button in disabled....hmmmmmm)

Um, but what about the other polls that show the race is almost even given margin of error, AP poll for example. Polls also showed that Kerry had the lead.

Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. 12 days to go and we can then sweep up the GOP house of cards from the floor.
