CBS News Poll Finds That Voters Who Were Unsure Last Month Are More Likely To Have Settled On Republican Ticket

Interesting since Biden is pro-abortion. He is against the late term abortions however. - Reply to this comment

- Because abortion is legal and only the Supreme Court can change that. Who put abortion rights in place anyway.

The republicans had a majority in both the Senate and the House of Representatives from 2000 through 2006, PLUS a republican president, giving them, in effect, more than a two-thirds majority, and they did not even try to change Roe vs. Wade.
Why? Because they would lose one of the most effective vote getting issues they have.
They USE (as in manipulate) the Christians in America for votes just like TV evangelists USE them for personal wealth.
The abortion issue is far too helpful to them for either to want to change. - Reply to this comment
- This is very interesting and I hope it shows the gullible GOP faithful how gullible they are and just how phony McSame is. You people need to stop listening to that fat, loud-mouth fool Rush Limbaugh. Please read:
(Political Animal) LIPSTICK ON A PIG.... I suppose it''s possible for our political discourse to get even dumber, but it''s hard to imagine how.
Last October, asked about Sen. Hillary Clinton''s health care plan, Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., was blunt. McCain said Clinton''s proposal was "eerily" similar to the ill-fated plan she devised in 1993. "I think they put some lipstick on a pig," he said, "but it''s still a pig."A common expression, right? McCain surely wasn''t calling Clinton a pig.
I hope you looney''s start thinking for yourself. But that might be asking too much as you are the people that gave us the worst administration in history! - Reply to this comment

93% of blacks voted for Obama in the primaries, and now a large number of democrats, along with many, normally independent, voters, including even some republican voters who are really fed up with the past eight years, are using the most frivolous excuses to not support Obama.
Absolute lies, where are you getting your statistics.. Palin''''s talking snake between her legs. Where is the link proving this bogus cr*p...none
95% of Blacks, and a large number of independents are voting for Obama. People are fed up of the corruption.

zoe2006;
You labeled my comment as absolute lies, thereby calling me a liar. Either you have a problem with frustration and anger causing you to incorrectly interpret my comment, or you have a character problem. Hopefully it is just a misunderstanding.
The ONLY statistic I used was that 93% of blacks voted for Obama in the primaries and the source is/was several polls and news articles during the primaries,.
The terms, some, and large numbers, are variables, not statistics. And BTW, you used the same (93%) statistic in your response.
FYI, I am a life long independent. I do not belong to either party.
I have voted in every election since 1960 and the ONLY times my candidate did NOT win were 2000 and 2004.
I will be voting for Obama in November even though this is the election I have the least confidence in winning. - Reply to this comment

- dear hungrymama: So you think exactly like Bush. If you want to keep this country the greatest country in the world, then you''d better pick something better than a fraud like McCain. Oh yeah, our country would stoop to the level of Great Britain or Canada..they sure are examples of third world countries..so, if you want to see our economy slip into the 2nd great depression, go ahead and vote McCain...then you can change your name to reallyhungrymama...

- Hey Uncommiteds: Did you see the headlines? Most of the world want Obama in office - not McCain. If McCain was so wonderful, why doesn''''t the WORLD want him in office? In other words - the world doesn''''t want another republican war monger running America. Why don''''t we listen to the world for once, instead of telling the world what to think and do???

That is a good reason for us to not want Obama in office. If you had been to some of those countries and see the way they do thing you would not want to change. They would love to pull us down to their level. This is the best country at the present time in the world. That is the reason people from all countries want to come here to live. - Reply to this comment

- Hey Sleeyric - when do we care what the rest of the world wants? AND since the rest of the world are either dictators, socialists, or communists, supporting Obama isn''t an endorsement in my book.
