Comments on: Poll: Uncommitted Voters Move To McCain
CBS News Poll Finds That Voters Who Were Unsure Last Month Are More Likely To Have Settled On Republican Ticket
- OneAmerican4, before you defend John McCain for this ridiculous fake concern for Sarah Palin, do your research. Politicians and others in the south have used that phrase for years. It''s nothing new. One of the most recent presidential candidates to use it was John McCain when he was speaking of Hillary Clinton''s Healthcare plan. Hillary supporters, if you really do believe in women''s rights, do not support John McCain. He laughed during the primaries when a person in the audience directed a question about Hillary towards him and used the word "B...." to describe her. I think that''s completely disrespectful. Now he folllows that up by asking you for your vote? Unbelievable!

- For you morons ranting about the other countries wanting Obama, that''s a good thing. As Americans we used to be able to go all over the world and welcomed, now it''s a risk to leave, because of the mess the Republicans started based on lies and manipulations. You think the rest of the world didn''t look at what was done to Saddam and feel threatened. And then we had the nerve to tell Russia they couldn''t do the same to Israel. Hypocrites are running America. Republicans let lies slide off their tongues with no shame. They tell you what you want to hear and do whatever the hell they want once they are in. What''s even funnier is when the world trade center was attacked in NEW YORK, it shut down our whole country. If we were attacked on the level of what we are doing in other countries. Big, bad Americans would be cowering in the corners of their homes.

- RowdyHeckNo,
You voted for George W Bush, and now you expect people to value your opinion? - Reply to this comment
- Liberals can easily forgive their candidate Obama using any and all means to insult and slime his opponents - but the vast majority of Americans will not forgive him until he is sent home to Chicago, defeated and forgotten.
Obama, your days as a politician on the national scene is severely shortened by your own foolish blunders and your elitist arrogance. - Reply to this comment
- Not all of them do. Fellow Democrats register a friend to vote by October 30th, let''''s join with the party that include ALL Americans, not the republicans who only include one race and one religion. Remember the economy, education, health care, jobs. Call a relative or friend and go register to vote as a Democrat.

I''m already doing that...calling everybody to vote AGAINST Obama! I cannot abide the thought of letting this scammer and fake with his Marxist and global ideology near the White House!
So far NOBODY''s buying his KRAP! - Reply to this comment
- It''s funny, people act as if Hillary''s fan club can really make a difference. When they all voted for Hillary it didn''t help her beat Obama. So what difference is it really going to make? The polls probably got 50 people altogether and then decided that this was 58% of Americans. Give us a break. There will be millions voting this election year. Obama is in, Palin can go back to Alaska and McCain can go and get some well needed rest.

the only reason his "change" mantra is fading is because your greasy candidates stole it...b/c they cant come up with anything original on their own! - Reply to this comment
- It''s all over for Obama but the chanting. Obama''''s "Change" mantra is falling apart under the scrutiny of his past political history. Obama ingratiated himself into the slimy Chicago political ring and profitted from it. Palin fought corrupt pols - Obama endorsed them! What a contrast. Obama''s ONLY chatitable contribution was a $22,500 check to Rev. Wright''s church. (compare to McCain''s worldwide help to the needy for DECADES). I am a lifelong Democrat who will be voting for McCain. I trust McCain to do what is right for America. I do not trust the "foreign interests" that back Obama and do NOT have our country''s best interest at heart. Obama is like my loud-mouthed uncle - talks about change all the time. Blow-hards both. Women will decide this election. Women know that Dean, Pelosi, and Reid can''t cram a totally unqualified candidate down our throats, hijack the primary election, spit on Hillary and all women, and try to hold us hostage with "Roe vs Wade". "Ain''t gonna work". Wait til November. The whole country will hear the roar of women. Payback''s a ***.

- Barracudas and humans...
Like sharks, barracudas have long had a bad reputation as being dangerous to humans. Barracudas have been observed following snorkelers and scuba divers across a reef, which can make one feel uncomfortable, but they are harmless unless provoked.
Being formidable hunters, they should be respected, as barracudas are perfectly capable of defending themselves against humans that harass them.
Go!! Go!! Barracuda Sarah!!!
If what you (Sarah) and Senator McCain are saying is the truth and you will stand up to the Washington do nothing crowd. Being seperate thinkers able to make positive change for this country and it''''''''s citizens.
Then I know many will come aboard and support your efforts. Politics has to change and become a helping hand to those in need. Also a hand up to those who are forward visionaries.
We need to set aside petty issues and concentrate on what will bring respect and honor back to the presidency. Other nations are watching and waiting to see what happens in this election. Will we show them our strength (unity) or our weakness (confusion & division). - Reply to this comment

Posted by FetusandMe at 01:59 PM : Sep 10, 2008
Isn''t it funny how this cliche'' has worked on mind-numb people. No election has been stolen! Prove it! Where is your proof of any kind?
However, there have been elections where 105% democrat turnout has occured...Quit blaming your inability to punch a hole in a card in a democratic precinct ran by democrats on anyone else but yourself. Funny though, the only way this hanging chad thing can be re-produced is when multiple ballots are punched together. Hmmmmmm!!! - Reply to this comment
- McCain = Bush = Fascism
They stand of big multi-national corporate hegemony. They stand for socialism for the rich and capitalism for the poor. Media propaganda, forced religions, spying and torture, that''s their game. - Reply to this comment
- As soon as the candidates start discussing the issues, lots of people will see that the GOP only offers more of the McSame failed Bushoccio policies of war and spending and giving tax money to the rich.
They will also see the king and queen of pork and their flip-flops and lies. And the true bimbo nature of Failin'' - Reply to this comment
- Help me bloggers.
I strain to understand how a party predominately in control or sufficient in numbers to stalemate the opposition would seriously be considered to return to power after most agree demonstating poor governance.
Not that the other side is perfect of course but are you better off now than 8 years ago?
Of particular wonderment is how, demonstrating Free Trade & Less Regulation, the Commodities Free Trade Modernization Act sponsored by Phil Gramm (McCain''s chief economic advisor) appears to have unleashed enron type speculation in the energy (oil) markets Note todays CNN senate report on speculation.
The platform of Free Trade, Small Government, Ownership Society, Less Regulation, etc. appears to have given us Labor Outsourcing & falling average spendable income, Lead, samonalia & other outbrakes straining underfunded agencies to carry out mission, mortgage mess, & and placing the findings of science 2nd or 3rd to political idealology and short term economic expediancy.
I am concerned that most appear willing to put back the same political powers expecting a different result? McCain/Palin & Obama/Biden are only 4 people as figureheads of party power positions so "personalities" seem to outweigh policies here of late.
Thank you for response. - Reply to this comment
