It''s not surprising really.
The democrats won the congress and they were expected to launch investigations of what led to the war. They were supposed to impeach Bush and Cheney and start putting culprits on trial for their lives. But instead they chose to play it safe and did nothing hoping to coast to a victory in 2008. No one respect cowards. If they lose they will have deserved it.
