- The DOW is down 288 points just today; the national debt is growing by leaps and bounds; unemployment is at record levels; the war in Iraq continues costing us over 10 billion dollars a month, all the while, Iraq has a 79 billion dollar surplus; Social Security is a mess; the health care program is a mess, and what do the Republicans do? They make personal attacks? Where are the solutions they think are required? What part of the Bush/McCain policy would they like to retain - if any.

What I see in Iraq, is Saddam dead, and good riddance, he supported Osama, let him in his country to train terrorists, and used WMD''''s on his own people. I also see 20,000 active terrorists DEAD because of our soldiers in Iraq...
We will get to Afghanistan once we get done in Iraq...and this time I hope we do it the cheap way and just make a parking lot out of it. Enough is enough!

You sound like your giving a McCain / Palin stump speech, all half truths and lies. Saddam was a bad guy, no doubt, but he at least was a stabilizing factor against Iran. Bush, Cheney and the rest of the neocon fear mongers, not unlike you, lied, spun and cherry picked us into war with Iraq. Meanwhile, the Taliban have regained a strong presence in Afghanistan. You also forget that until we attacked Iraq, Al Qaeda was not in Iraq.
Do you think we can go from country to country in the Middle East declaring war on everyone? Is Iran next? And who is going to pay for it? I will tell you who, our children and their children. Meanwhile, you can%u2019t even get student loans for college because all of our resources are going to Iraq.
