Geneva Convention doesn%u2019t apply to non-uniformed soldiers such as Al Qaeda.

How many of the 14,000 that were detained were Al Qaeda?

President can fire any of his attorney%u2019s, such as when Clinton fired ALL OF THEM

Total number of subpoenas issued over Clinton firings?
By the way did you see the judge''s ruling against Bush and Rove over ignoring the subpoenas, a Bush appointed judge.

Valerie Plame was caught lying which is why her husband was dropped from the Kerry "administration

Plame was covert at the time of her outing according to Patrick Fitzgerald and "fair game" according to Rove.

Tax cuts went to 98% of tax payers; the wealthiest still pay the most

Explain why the US the most unequal distribution of wealth and income of any major nation in the industrialized world

Global Warming - man made - is supported by less than half of published climate scientists,

That is a flat out lie; give me your list of scientist.

Dem led senate committee%u2019s have exonerated administration of any pre-war manipulation of intelligence

Another flat out lie, see Senate Intelligence Committee Unveils Final Phase II Reports on Prewar Iraq Intelligence

The rest of the world said the same thing we did. SCHIP

Your own party supported SCHIP, Bush vetoed it twice.

Keep going you have many more on that list.

The libs are the one''s who won''t question their own authority figure, the "Chosen One" or "The one''s we''ve been waiting for" Libs are the one''s FAINTING at Hussein Obama''s speeches. Libs are the one''s who follow Hitler and Mussolini''s societal ideals - banning smoking, encourage abortion among the weak (perhaps Palin would be a hero if she''d aborted her child?) abolish capitalism; as Hitler announced in a 1939 speech..."...we are socialists..." Forward to today. They want to tell me what kind of car i can drive, what kind of light bulbs I can use, where my kids can go to school, where I can work - or that I HAVE to work for the community at some point in my life.

Who again is blindly following an authority figure?

if the DEMS were not afraid of Palin and she was a terrible pick as they say she was...why say a word about her ?.. i would sit back and watch her self destruct. But, she is a REP, so i will sit back and watch the DEMS sweat. They have to be shaking in their boots.

Barney Frank and his male prostitute, Gerry Studds and his underage male lover, Robert Byrd and his KKK membership, Pete Stark and his bashing of the military, Obama and his terrorist friend Bill Ayers and his racist advisor Rev. Wright and his convicted criminal friend Tony Rezko and his "community organizing" experience with ACORN, the liberals and their divisive politics - going abroad and bashing their own country to curry favor with the world''s socialists, Obama''s 143 days in the Senate and 150+ votes of "present" while in the Illinois legislature: Interpretation: I can''t make a decision without checking the polls, Obama''s support of Infanicide in Chicago''s Hospitals.

And you guys are worried about Sarah Palin who actually made executive decisions while a Mayor and a Governor? Guess I''m just another "Typical white person...clinging to my guns and religion out of bitterness." We want the governement OUT of our lives, you want to live off the government teet at my expense.

Face it, these people are incapable of connecting the dots, if they were they would not be right wing authoritarian followers that need to be told who to fear and who to hate. You are asking way too much of the sheep.

Right Wing Authoritarian Followers and How They Threaten America

John Dean recently had an epiphany when he found the data from years of academic studies into the conservative mind. There is a psychological profile of right wing conservatives that centers on the need for a strong authoritarian figure to tell them what to do. Dean explores this in his new book, "Conservatives Without Conscience". He examines the role of fear-mongering as a conservative force to unite the People and retain power, a thesis that was already widely known. But it is the look at the conservative minds as they relate to authority that is new here. I''ve often wondered why Bush followers don''''t see what he has done and abandon him. Apparently, there is a deep psychological need for authoritarian figure that overwhelms individual thought and reasoning skills, anything can be justified inculing Sarah Palin. All this time I''ve wondered why so it is quite a relief to have an explanation that makes sense.

Liberals and progressives are essentially anti-authority while conservatives are willing followers of the authoritarian personality. Fascinating stuff.

Dean doesn''t believe we are at a state of fascism yet but he says, "we''re so close to it." These authoritarian followers "stay loyal way too long." The current group - Cheney and Bush - have taken this authoritarianism "way past where anyone''s ever taken it in the United States." He included an anecdote about Gordon Liddy who told him he knew too much about President Nixon and asked what street corner the White House wanted him to go to and be shot. As Dean says. "That''s a loyal right wing authoritarian follower in action at the extreme."

ckbgsb...almost everything you say is pure liberal accusations and talking points and are non-factors.

President can fire any of his attorney''s, such as when Clinton fired ALL OF THEM at once, tax cuts went to 98% of tax payers, the wealthiest still pay the most by far, Valerie Plame was caught lying which is why her husband was dropped from the Kerry "administration", wire-tapping was legal as he had to report to a Senate committe bi-monthly -funny how you libs are worried about the rights of butchers and less about my children, Global Warming - man made - is supported by less than half of published climate scientists, Dem led senate committee''s have exonerated administration of any pre-war manipulaton of intelligence - the rest of the world said the same thing we did. SCHIP wanted to expand to give benefits to ADULTS and families who are 400% ABOVE the poverty line; basically socialism.

Where in the world is Sarah Palin?

McCain Campaign Hides Palin from the Press

By: Jon Perr @ 6:00 AM - PDT

On the same day Barack Obama met with the conservative water carrier Bill O%u2019Reilly on Fox News, the McCain campaign made it clear that Sarah Palin won%u2019t be talking to any of the media any time soon.

In a jaw-dropping appearance on MSNBC Thursday, McCain aide Nicole Wallace told Time%u2019s Jay Carney that the press wouldn%u2019t get a chance to take shots at the hockey mom turned McCain running mate.

According to Nicole Wallace of the McCain campaign, the American people don%u2019t care whether Sarah Palin can answer specific questions about foreign and domestic policy. According to Wallace %u2014 in an appearance I did with her this morning on Joe Scarborough%u2019s show %u2014 the American people will learn all they need to know (and all they deserve to know) from Palin%u2019s scripted speeches and choreographed appearances on the campaign trail and in campaign ads.

Given the highly combustible mixture that is Palin%u2019s reed-thin resume, radical right-wing agenda and mushrooming portfolio of scandals, Team McCain%u2019s effort to field the first stealth vice presidential candidate in history comes as no surprise.

But for conservatives so found of countdowns and ticking clocks, the question now is: when will %u201CDisappearing Palin%u201D meet the press? Apparently, %u201CSarahcoulda,%u201D but won%u2019t talk to the media.

The clock is ticking.

You mean this Alaskian Blue?

Sarah Palin the %u2018Earmark Queen%u2019 of AK Left Wasilla $20 Million in Debt

By: Bill W.

After finishing as a runner up for Miss Alaska 1984, Sarah Palin went on to be crowned the state%u2019s Queen of Earmarks and its Empress of Fiscal Irresponsibility.

Wonk Room: Sarah Palin: Earmark Queen Of The Earmark State

In 2000, Sarah Palin, as mayor of the Alaskan town of Wasilla, hired a Washington lobbyist to secure federal earmarks for her community.

This is not totally atypical in her state. Alaska%u2019s government receives more money per capita in federal earmark money than any other state, despite being the only state in the union with no income tax and no sales tax. They fund their government primarily with petroleum money, and recently distributed oil profits to its citizens in the form of rebate checks.

But even in her heavily earmarked state, Sarah Palin was the earmark queen.

From 2000 to 2003, she secured over $27 million in earmarks, averaging $6.7 million in federal money every year for her town of about 6,700 people. %u2026(read on)

As mayor, Sarah Palin managed to secure a thousand dollars a year per person in her city in earmarks, yet%u2026

When Palin left office in 2002, Wasilla had %u201Cracked up nearly $20 million in long-term debt,%u201D or roughly $3,000 of debt per resident. %u2026(more)

Asked in 1996, her first year in office, about her ability to %u201Ceffectively run%u201D the city, Palin claimed:

%u201CIt%u2019s not rocket science,%u201D Palin said, %u201CIt%u2019s $6 million and 53 employees.%u201D

Only %u201C$6 million and 53 employees%u201D and yet she managed to bury it $20 mil. in the red in just two-terms. How very Bush-like. And she wants us to trust her to be a heartbeat away from the national budget?

He!l I''d be blue too!

From 2003 (when the tax cuts were enacted) throug most of 2007, GDP grew for 50+consecutive months, unemployement went down to 4.5% and tax revenues were at record levels - when you lower taxes it creates economic activity and tax receipts go up.

The Dems took control in early 2007 and forced the minimum wage higher and wouldn''t extend the tax cuts or increase energy production. Any wonder why gas has doubled, unemployment gone ups 1.7% and we''ve flirted with recession? Look at the Democratic Party in charge. Oh and those wealthiest one percent still foot the bill for about 40% of our taxes. How "fair" is that?
