QUOTES FROM HER PASTOR:
Jesus called us to die. You''re worried about getting hurt? He''s called us to die. Listen, you know we can''t even follow him unless you are willing to give up your life. ... I believe that Jesus himself operated from that position of war mode. Everyone say "war mode."
Kalnins has preached that the 9/11 attacks and the invasion of Iraq were part of a "world war" over the Christian faith, one in which Jesus Christ had called upon believers to be willing to sacrifice their lives.
He preaches repeatedly about the "end times" or "last days," an apocalyptic prophesy held by a small but vocal group of Christian leaders. During his appearance with Palin in June, he declared, "I believe Alaska is one of the refuge states in the last days, and hundreds of thousands of people are going to come to the state to seek refuge and the church has to be ready to minister to them." - Reply to this comment

- Funny how you do not understand economy... Taxing the rich takes away the motivation to take risks, work hard, be smart. Taxing the rich will create the "banana republic".

Yeah!!! Isn''t it funny how all of you financial wizards ''trickle down'' theory has never worked???? It didn''t work in Reagan''s Administration and it hasn''t worked for Bush. But, you financial genius Republican''s keep touting it hoping some day it will! It just piles on the debt!!! And with no one bothering to ever pay it back it''s a recipe for disaster! And it doesn''t take a financial wizard to figure that one out. Except ''Barrow and Spend'' Republican''s are never smart enough to figure it out! - Reply to this comment

WOW, what a brain *** that must have been to come up with that statement. with that kind of logic the poor and middle class, taxed more than the rich, have to buckle down and allow the oppression? - Reply to this comment
- The Republican response to Gustav was what should be expected .. why give approval for what should be expected competence. Only in America would the Republican leadership be given high praise for actually doing the job they were elected to do. Bush and Cheney have lowered the bar so low.

- How is the response to Gustav the GOPs? The response is bi-partisan. It reflects lessons learned in the Katrina debacle. In national emergencies, we pull together. All of the volunteers who went to Louisiana and Mississippi after Katrina didn''t care about political affiliation. Do you think different decisions would have been made if Louisiana''s governor had been a Democrat?
New Orleans was lucky to have been only on the edge of Gustav, not in the direct path. All Americans are relieved, regardless of political party preferences. - Reply to this comment
- If we don''''t raise taxes on the BILLIONAIRES who have just enjoyed the greatest rape of the American economy the world has ever seen, then the Once Great American Republic will become just another Third World banana republic.

- LOL! Just an observation, but I noticed how they continue to tout that so-called executive experience, including the years as mayor of that little town. It makes me laugh because, I guess you can also count being the executive director of a daycare as having executive experience, if you want to stretch it that far.

It cracks me up big time when you libs , in your panic equate Alaska to the small town ...For your information, Alaska is the 49th state of the union , with population in the same range as Hawaii, but with land bigger than TEXAS and resources and riches beyond that of California ...So , tell me if that small town of yours is in your imagination or is it in your ignorance ? And by the way , how a politician handle his or her post is pretty obvious after the 100th day , that is why we have the 100th day evaluation of a president or speaker of the house or such important posts , NOW , after 2 years , that''s 730 days at least , Palin approval rating is 80% , how is that for a performance??? So , what is Alaska ? what types of duties is the head of the state of Alaska called? How was Sarah Palin rated by her constituents while on her job? Those are questions that such dim-witted mind like you should be able to answer now . Good luck ,you''ll need it! - Reply to this comment

You are the REAL fool here, mate:
1/While Alaska is small in population , it is the largest state and also the one of the richest states if not THE richest state with its oil , and with that ,come corruptions and Palin took on those crooks and won , Obama ,if faced with such crooks in his party would probably tremble with fear ( We do not know because he never had that courage to face them!)
2/ Senators'' duties = Making laws , Legislature --- Governors'' duties = Enforce laws , make decisions , Executive - NOw , tell me who has more experiences that are more closely resemble that of a President.
3/ Palin has records to back up her maverick''s status and her corruption-fighting claims , Obama has speeches that he delivered ! Real vs. Unreal!
4/ Palin will be the VP, a back-up , Obama is running for the post of the Presidency , the main guy. Same duties??? I think NOT!
So, I rest my case , You , Sir , are the REAL Fool, not the other guy! - Reply to this comment
- Sarah Palin and McCain scold people for "intruding" on her family matter regarding her daughter''s unplanned pregnancy. This is from a woman whose political platform is based on intruding on people''s family matters in the form of outlawing abortion even in the case of rape an incest, preventing s-x education and family planning in schools (how''s that working out for you Mrs. Palin?), and running on a platform of "family values" even though she''''s circling the country with McCain with 5 kids including a very ill 4 month old at home.

- There are a number of people around the internet claiming "I''m a democrat" then giving the GOP and McCain a glowing review. These people are clearly GOPers trying to sway independents. GOP meetings have long encourage people to write "letters to the editor" claiming to be "former democrats" or "independents."

- 1. After only 20 months as governor has hired a lawyer to protect in her "Troopergate."
2. As mayor of a town of less than 9 thousand ran up a 22 million dollar debt.
3. She incorrectly pronounces "nuclear" as "nucular."
4. She attended secessionist conventions.
5. In a live TV interview from ONLY ONE MONTH AGO she said "I still can%u2019t answer that question until somebody answers for me what is it exactly that the VP does every day?"
6. The Alaska state senator running an investigation of Gov. Palin says the McCain campaign is using stall tactics to prevent him from releasing his final report by Oct. 31, four days before the November election.
7. Obama says I can''t talk about __ but, I can say (8.) that she "eloped" and had a baby less than 8 full months later.
There is a photo of Mrs. Palin wearing a shirt that says "I may be broke but, I''m not flat busted." I married a *** librarian with big a big bust, I get the appeal, but (9.) that''s white trash.
10. In her first television interview after being selected said she "opposed the ''Bridge to Nowhere.''" Citing PALIN''S OWN OFFICIAL STATMENT, Palin supported the bridge AT EVERY STEP!
A). Liar.
B) She supported it in campaign ads; this directly refutes "pork buster."
Ten is enough.
11. Hired a lobbyist firm to get her small town far more than their fair share of federal taxes.
True or not, fair or not, classless or not, that''s all people are talking about.
She''s a bad pick.
