What''s the point of this poll and story other than for CBS to remind "most American peopel" to vote for Senator Obama? Did they poll the Democrats before the DNC convention to find out if they support the Democratic led Congress which has an even lower approval rating than President Bush?

Strange how McClone''s smirk looks a lot like the slippery Bushit''s smirk, isn''t it?

To continue the same downward trend, McClone is your man.

Otherwise, vote Obama and vote Democrat at every level.

Republicans blew it.

Wow! I can''t believe it. As a former Republican I really can''t believe it. The GOP (Grand Old Party) has become just OLD (not a reference to McCain''s age).

40% of the GOP want America to be more conservative than under Bush, I guess that means "locked down" under a total Fascist regime with no laws or Constitution and martial law. I always thought the neo-cons were un-American...

Hmmm... This must mean they are all IN.SANE! Bush is the WORST US PRESIDENT OF ALL TIME, bar none!

Bush FAILED to protect us on 9/11, destroyed the economy, sent our jobs overseas, started worthless illegal wars, championed torture, and repeatedly violated the Constitution and even BRAGGED about it!

Vote for McSame if you want 4 more years of Bu-***.

"80 percent of Republican delegates approve of Mr. Bush%u2019s performance "

Then they agree that cutting taxes without cutting spending is a great way to get your children and grandchildren to pay for your roads, bridges, schools, and other public services.

We''ve paid $1 trillion dollars just paying the INTEREST on the debt Reagan left us since he left office. That leaves the $3 trillion PRINCIPAL on his loan to be paid by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

"Gather round, kids, and let me tell you a story about how you paid for ''morning in America'' ". LOL.

A CBS News/New York Times survey released on the cusp of the Republican National Convention found that nearly 80 percent of Republican delegates approve of Mr. Bush%u2019s performance as president.

**********************************************************How scary is this? Do they even care what is happening to our country? Do they even know what is happening to our country or do they placate themselves with listening to only right wing propaganda?

Backing a president with the lowest approval rating in history says one thing that they, like the shrub need to get tossed to the curb in D.C. McSame will offer the same government and cronyism. The poor victims of the latest hurricane, three years ago ignored by this same administration, now being exploited and used as a re-election tool for the shrubs third term. Real change vote Obama....
