CBS/NY Times Poll: 42 Percent Of Pledged Clinton Delegates Say They’ll Vote For Her At Convention
- Democrats should ask Americans the same question former Pres. Reagan asked Americans and vote based on the answer! Who to vote for is not complicated, if you are better off than you were 4 years ago, or 8 years ago, vote for the Republican, if you are `NOT` better off than you were 4 years ago or 8 years ago, vote for the Democrat! Why aren`t the Republicans asking this question this time around? Answer: Republicans know they can`t!!

Guess what? They said it a month ago and they said again today. - Reply to this comment
- hey juless what changes is obama going to bring. I can''''t name any that haven''''t been poured over many times. I was reading the NYT and they are supporters of obama and their complaint of both candidates is that they haven''''t said what they would do. Its easy to say that you will change things much harder to do.

An end to a stupid war, to begin with. A war that cost the American people over 10 billion a month. Sounds pretty good for starters. McComa can bring you a war with Iran, if Dumbya does not do it first. - Reply to this comment
- "my vote will only go to a woman" or "war vet" or a "christian" or "someone I could have a beer with" They deserve what they get.

- The voters don''t want or need change, just solutions to the problems we have.

- Semper Fifi, garbage in, garbage out. What kind of experience matters. How about life experience, higher education and common sense. I hope we have outgrown voting for total buffoons like McSame and his hero McBush. They don''t even support the troops, having voted against the GI Bill. Oh, and sending troops off to die for oil. Impeach and imprison. And unite for change behind Obama.

- why should obama have to dumb down his message and intellect in order to attract votes? there are some people that are just finding any excuse not to vote for obama. there is a portion of this country that is really smart and make decisions based on facts. unfortunately they are the minority when compared the rest of the country who elect bush because "they felt like they can have a beer with him" these ignorant a**holes are the one how complain the most when the incompetent idiot they elect like bush screws up the country. now they are gonna repeat the same process with mccain. these are the same people how insist obama is muslim even after he spent the last 20 years in a Christian church and says he is not, what do you want from this guy!!!. the same people who no matter what he does they want to see a little bit more or he isn''''''''t doing enough to please them. these people have ulterior motives and reasons for not voting for obama they just like to hide behind these flavorless excuses

- The electoral college map is going to look very similar to the one in 2004, except this time California will go GOP. Obama will be lucky to win 10 states. The voters don''t want or need change, just solutions to the problems we have. Obama doesn''t offer any. He can try again in 2016. By then, he may have enough experience to actually convince the voters to take him seriously.

- Why should Hillary supporters be dissatisfied? We have a young, smart (half minority) candidate who wants to defeat the right wing fascist extremists of the Grand Oil Party. The GOP who are for the rich, against the troops and We the People.

- I think the fact the Obama campaign sent out it''s VP text message at 3 am to take a peevish poke at the Clintons, not to mention they didn''t choose HRC when independent polls showed it would have given then a 10 point bonus over every other candidate, says it all about why Obama isn''t seriously ahead right now in the polls like he should be. He and his people are petty and vicious and let their ridiculous hatred of the Clintons overwhelm party unity. They didn''t have to send that out at 3am to take a pot shot at Hillary. Unbelievable hubris, and a totally unnecessary insult. If the dems lose in November, my only silver lining is say good riddance to the petty, personal, underhanded nastiness of the Obama campaign.

Amen to getting them to do their jobs, but you know the next 4 years of whoever gets elected will be spent trying to get re-elected. Thus, we all have to struggle along with them. I HATE politics in every way. - Reply to this comment
- The Olympics was only the latest evidence that America is not as strong as she used to be. A communist country effectively used their rising middle-class to put on the greatest show ever AND win the most gold medals. There were just too few Moms''s and Dad''s like Michael Phelp''s or Shawn Johnson''s who''s sacrifice was enough to propel their kids to the top. The rest were too distracted by mortgage failures, medical expenses, gas prices and educational budget-cuts, all problems that grew during two decades of soaring corporate tax cuts and profits.
This election is possibly the last chance to save the working middle-class and everything it does for this country. It is unbelievable that many voters are still voting based on identity politics..."my vote will only go to a woman" or "war vet" or a "christian" or "someone I could have a beer with" They deserve what they get. - Reply to this comment
- It doesn''t change the price of gas, provide jobs or even stop the trillion dollar deficit America has. www.IOUSAtheMovie.com. We need to get real, we do not know these two candidates, they are politicians and they probably have a closer relationship to each other than we will ever have to them. We need to urge them both to fix the broaken system we have, bottom line, do their jobs.

- Oh... and not that you really expected me to, destardi1, but I did actually google all 4 of your posts, and was surprised at how obsessed you appear to be with Obama''s race. Are you from West Virginia by chance?

- The Clintons are just two malcontent who still have difficulty accepting the fact they lost. Now they are doing all they can to assure McCain''s victory so she can run again in 2012. I almost feel sorry for these miserable people, but we don''t need Bill back to stink up the White House and we don''t need Hillary stealing the silverware like she did last time.

- LOL, yeah right. Obama and Clinton have nearly identical voting records and platforms, but you''re gonna vote for 4 more years of BushCo policies after 8 looooooooong years of disastrous GOP policies. Please don''t insult liberals by calling yourself one. And yes, us true liberals who would NEVER vote for McCain (who will skew the courts even more, get us into even more wars, make Bushco tax polices bankrupt the nation, etc), are well aware that Obama is tacking to the center and aren''t too thrilled about it. Better to be a GOP troll than a Democrat traitor who condemns the nation to 4 more disastrous years.

- Great idea!
Wouldn''t it be fantastic if everyone could just work together for the common good of everyone instead of all this backbiting?

LISTEN MORON, GOOGLE MY NAME!!! For the past 8 years I''ve been a blatant LIBERAL!!!
The fact that you refuse to believe that progressives/liberals DO NOT LIKE OBAMA and what he stands for with his version of lemming supports JUST LIKE BUSH, should be a WAKE UP CALL.
Let me clue you in, authoritarian minded freak:
2004 - You''re not a republican if you don''t agree with me
2008 - You''re not a democrat if you don''t agree with me
Notice, you didn''t discuss the Progressive blogosphere''s huge disappointment in obama''s voting for RETRO FISA bill, and Cheney''s energy bill.
How did Hillary vote on those things?
And loser, it was your master race baiter obama who praised republicans and dissed the modern day Roosevelts.
Don''t you DARE call me a "republican troll."
But if it makes you feel any better, I WILL be voting for a republican in November!! Congratulations! - Reply to this comment
