We had an unregulated market bubble and 80 million dollars spent investigating a BJ. As for far left extremism, thats what the Republicans labeled FDR when he initiated SS and they have been trying to eliminate it ever since.

Strange isn''t it...was republicans who helped write the SS bill...and we still have SS...and it''s getting stretched because so many baby boomers are retiring...eliminating it? I seem to remember no proposals to eliminate it.

I''''''''m not sure what you mean by "out of whack" but if you aren''''''''t in the top 2% living in a country where there is no Middle Class is not an option...ask any Third World Country.

You''re sitting here yammering about the fall of the middle class as you sit in front of a computer, behind you is a big screen tv and every other kind of device that makes your day happy, and shiney new car sitting in your driveway with a tank full of gas!

I can certainly understand your depression over the economical situation...YES I CAN!

WellHell3,

The country had prosperity in the 1990s on the back of a bubble. If you think the bubble-bust economies are best for this country, then don''t rock the boat. This country has some serious foundational problems and somebody need to have the b a l ls to fix them. Yes, we might have to accept some tough love for a moment, but I''m sick of short-term thinking at the expense of long-term prosperity.

"It''''s out of whack right now! That''''s why we need some compromises to put it right!"

WellHell3,

FDR was called a traitor to his class when he pushed through The New Deal. If you look at what has happened over the last 30 years, you''''d be INSANE to support anyone who is a part of the GOP. Debt today has become an issue primarily in the last 30 years because salaries haven''''t kept up with inflation and people have had to go into debt to maintain a lifestyle that is considered middle class as well as the issue of healthcare costs.

This country goes to ***** every time our government is stacked to the far left or the far right!

It takes BOTH parties to make it all work!

And get real!!! Without the rich, who the hell is going to have enough money to pay your salaries so that you in turn can help them pay the taxes that support our infrastructure!

It''s out of whack right now! That''s why we need some compromises to put it right!

WellHell3,

You don''t KNOW McCain OR Obama truthfully and to question Obama''s loyalties is just stupid. Honestly, I think a politician in office for 20 years is too long. If you''ve got something to fix, do it now...being in Washington is corruptible and the longer you are there, the longer you have been.

The Democrats still need effective people in the Senate. I expect Obama chooses someone at the state level. Possibly Sebelius. Inthe minority, the Republicans are in bad situation. They can''t afford to lose any seats. I expect a sitting Governor or Tom Ridge as their only choices.

The Bushes are just puppets to someone and those same people who pull the strings have control of MCCAIN.

McCain is not the solution. If he wins, he will be responsible. Just so you know.

You have taken away all my weapons and left me nothing to fight on with. Thanks a lot! Have a great day and try to get over your prejudice with OBAMA. He will make a fine President. You''''ll see.

lol, Have a good day, Lefty...

No doubt in twenty years Obscamma may make a good president...once he learns something about leading this country...realizing he can''t get votes with scams and lies...and decides where his loyalties really are!

Until then...it''s NO GO!

You think it''''s BS? That''''s what this country had for a good portion of the time. FDR helped to establish the Middle Class. The goal of the GOP ever since was to destroy it.

What BS! Most of our social programs were designed in Congress with bi-partisan effort! Go look at the designers of it!

zerato,

McCain has been in office for 20 years doing nothing. Experience doesn''t mean good or bad. It''s actually meaningless because throughout history many of the best presidents didn''t have so much political experience and some of the worst had a lot.

With mccains experience he still wanted to invade Iraq. So what does that experience do for you. Obama wants a time line of 16 months for the US troops to withdrawal, mccain bush and maliki agree with him now. So how is that for experience and foreign experience. LMAO

McCain was dead right on Iraq and the surge. Good for him! Saddam Hussein and thousands of active terrorists are dead, and the rest scampering back to Afghanistan to hide in their caves!

Good job to our troops, and the generals for pulling the terrorists out of the mountains of Afghanistan into the open desert to fight!

You don''t get it do ya? It wasn''t just Osama that wants us dead, it''s ALL these radical extremists!

I''''ll take McCain any old day...and a democratic Congress perhaps with Hillary leading it! Will be an excellent balance...and I''''ll bet some terrific work will get done in bi-partisan effort.

Hillary has the guts to push through legislation we badly need...and McCain can weild the sword that doesn''t let the far left democrats mire us in Marxist extremism.
