After all... "We''re here, we''re queer, and we''re IN YOUR FACE!"

That is perfect LuvUSA. Whole heartedly agree. Unfortunately, it seems the community is hell-bent on crapping on the sanctity of marriage because that WAS offered to them and they wouldn''t take it. The tax benefits and everything were already offered! A lot of gay''s will disagree with this... some may just not know but, anything holy is under attack in this country right now and it''s just a sign of the times.

I suggest we call the union what it is... a union, rather than selfishly insisting that history rewrite itself.

I am not opposed to gay and lesbian relationships. However the relationship cannot be called a marriage for two historic reasons: First, the religious origin of marriage as a sacramental joining of male and female as prescribed in various religious texts and societal traditions; and second, the role of male and female to further propagate the species to insure it''s survival. Gay and lesbian relationships cannot do this on their own. I suggest we call the union what it is... a union, rather than selfishly insisting that history rewrite itself.

I am straight as they come and I cannot for the life of me figure out why people think being gay is 1) a choice and 2)wrong. Some of the most decent people I am privileged to call friends are gay ...Posted by papergrl

It''s just ignorance. I think that what these people are against is when g@y people dance in the streets with a$$less chaps and pink boas...personally, I''m against anyone g@y or straight dressed like that dancing around. I think the flamboyant types give g@y people a bad name.

Why was my comment deleted? Fox News doesn''t censor like that! I used no profanity or anything. It was just a question? I just said I think that gay men must really love each other to go thru all the medical problems discomforts that go along with that kind of love. The "firing squad" comment was WAY worse! Put my comment back up please. Thats not fair.

Interesting how statistics are used and abused. If 30 percent are for gay marriage, that means 70 percent are against it.

Your religion does not matter.

It might to you, but to me it is irrelevant. Keep it to yourself. I will not be bothered with it.

Seeing that being gay is a forbidden religous act, how can people accept gay marriages?

Because they''re not talking about religious marriages - they''re talking about getting a marriage certificate.
