IRREFUTABLE FACTS: UNITE or FALL

1. Hillary won in 17 largely blue states with 297 electoral votes. You need 270 to be come president. Democrats dominate in these states of Arizona (10), Arkansas (6), California (55), Nevada (5), New York (31), New Jersey (15), Texas (34), Tennessee (11), Ohio (20), Florida (27), Michigan (17), Pennsylvania (21), Kentucky (8), New Mexico (5), Massachusetts (12), West Virginia (5), Indiana (11), Rhode Island (4), and Puerto Rico (Commonwealth).

2. Obama won in mostly red states with only 199 electoral votes. In those states Republicans vastly out number Democrats 2:1. Even if Obama some how won all these red states and got Republicans to vote for him all he has are 199 electoral votes. Well short 270 needed to be president.

Agreed, it will certainly help more doors open. However,it is not just Hillary who has done this. Look at all the other women who are now in politics, senate, house, governors etc...etc. Hopefully, all these women who are now in positions will not revert to the "angry and bitter" stance of someone like Ferraro, who has done a disservice to all women by her recent comments. There are all kinds of biases everywhere, in public, private, and in all kinds of situtations. Do not lower yourself by blaming sexism or racism - these are factors that existed and will be there in the future, to varying extent. let us just salute all the women who have been there, and will be there!

Obama, an "inadequate black male" who is unqualified and inexperienced, was preselected in a rigged Democratic Party over a better, highly qualified and stronger female candidate, Sen. Clinton. In running against a system like this, it can never be "easier for other women to run" and no door will be open. Posted by crat3

It''s time to get over it. Obama is more than qualified, lacks experience in federal politics, but can back that up with experience on the state level. Clinton and Bush also never had experience at the federal level before they became president. The people have spoken and Obama will be the winner according to the rules the democratic party set out. It''s time to kiss and make up, and as I have said before on here, the perfect scenaio is if Hillary becomes the VP candidate on the ticket.

"I needed to add: What shame for the party!"

No, whats more of a shame is that hillary supporters would rather vote for someone with ideals completely opposite to the democratic party. Whats the point of saying you vote as a demo or repub when you dont have the balls to stand up for the ideals they represent.

The Democrat party has proven that any man [even an inexperienced racist] is more acceptable than a women.

Wow... you guys are classic examples of hillary''s base constituents. Uneducated white voters lol. If you guys want another 4 years of the same Bush policies (economic down turns, baseless wars, and so on) then please go vote for McCain. It will only futher bolster your classification belonging to hillary voters.

In the Republican Party, the doors are open. In the Republican Party, Sen Clinton would have been nominated as the best qualified and the strongest candidate for the party nomination. This is in contrast to the totally corrupt Democratic Party.

Only the resounding defeat of the Democratic Party in November will open the doors and "will make it easier for other women to run" in the Democratic Party. A crushing defeat is needed to send the message loud and clear to: Edward Kennedy, John Kerry, John Edwards, George McGovern, Christopher Dodd, Robert Byrd, Jimmy Carter, and Richardson.

Hillary Clinton supporters have a cause in working for the resounding defeat of Obama and voting for McCain in November.

Immediately email, phone, write (not once, but twice and three times!) all your Democratic officeholders, Senators, Governors, Congressman on down and tell them that the Party''s in trouble if Hillary''s not on the ticket!

do you know of any websites we can sign up to let Obama know that we will not vote for him if our girl Hillary is not on the ticket.

I''d for McCain if he asked her to be his VP.

I have voted Democratic in every election since 1972. I will not vote Democratic this year if Hillary is not on the ticket. If the Democrats who want this ninkompoop for the top spot don''''t have the brains and humility to at least give Hillary the #2 spot, they can all go to Kenya in a handbasket--cause me and many others are going to Republican headquarters to sign up.

we totally agree with you.
