- Trapbreak,
There will never be peace between Israel & Hamas until Hamas recognizes Israel, on that you are right.
Negotiations will never work with pre-conditions on either side because neither will unilaterally give up their negotiating position without mutual compromise and some give and take.
That would be like Iran agreeing to negotiate with the U''S. but only after we agree to let them have their nukes, or conversely, the U.S. agreeing to negotiate with them only after they concede their program. If these things were possible without negotiations we wouldn''t be talking about negotiations.
All negotiations in the Middle East have always involved unsavory characters. Negotiations aren''t perfect or easy and don''t always produce the desired results but they are always preferable to the alternative. - Reply to this comment
- I used to think that I would vote for either Democrat but Hillary has really upset me. First it''s supposed to be her campaign yet she let Bill get away with far too much which has hurt her. I had fear mongering poured at me by the Bushies for almost eight years. That and intimidation attempts with McCarthyistic style (If you don''t go along with us you''re not a patriot) rhetoric that frightened a lot of people out of speaking their minds. And I won''t accept it again and most certainly not from a member of the party I belong to. So what after tomorrow? Will you consider Hillary that if you don''t win big that maybe it is time for a graceful exit? Or is she so determined that she''ll hand America over to extremists again by continuing a battle that is hurting her party. If so she should be ashamed.

- My bet would be that as soon as Isreal pulled back and gave Hamas what they wanted they would start shooting from the new position.

So we shouldn''t try??? We should just keep on with the terribably flawed policy we''ve watched fail so badly over the last 7 years. NO idea should be rejected and movement from those we oppose should be sought in any form. History has shown that when we refuse to talk, as it was with the USSR during the McCarthy Era, we all suffer. When we TRY then we benefit as was the case in the USSR when we won over those in Eastern Europe. If nothing else if we offer to talk we can appear to be willing to make peace and Moderate Arabs will have more leverage to help us in other area''s. Sieg Heil Bush - Reply to this comment
- THE PROBLEM WITH THE ''''YOUNG'''' VOTE IS THAT THEY ARE BIASED, THEY THINK THE WORLD REVOVES AROUND THEM, AND UNTIL THEY UNDERSTAND IT DOESN''''T ( WHICH MIGHT BE WELL INTO ADULTHOOD,IF EVER) THEY THINK CHANGE WILL COME INSTANTLY WITH DEMOCRAT, AND THEN ARE SUR[RISED WHEN IT DOESN''''T, OR FINDS THAT THE CHANGE ISN ''''T WHAT THEY EXPECT. BEING NAIVE IS FOR THE YOUNG. CHANGE COMES AT A PRICE, ARE YOU WILLING TO PAY FOR IT? RIGHT NOW NO ONE SEEMS TO BE ABLE TO AFFORD ANYTHING. AND, NO ONE IS GOING TO GIVE IT YOU.

LOL Right! Brace yourself there swastika breath... change is coming and it''s going to be vast and sweeping. The Fascist who gave us RECORD Deficits and RECORD Debt, a WAR based on LIES and the WORST Administration in our History is on it''s way out... Hang to that swastika and crawl back under your rock. In another maybe 30-40 years you slime balls can crawl back out and convince people that this NEW generation went to far and made the wrong dicisions. The problem in all that is those decisions, on social security, medicare, Health Coverage, Energy and so forth HAVE to be made and you freaks aren''t able to make any of them... YOU''ve PROVEN it beyond any doubt... you aren''t going to MOVE on them. Sieg Heil Bush - Reply to this comment

- The Clinton campaign now wants to resort to fear touting Pearl Harbor, Osama Bin Laden, and the Berlin Wall? Why didn%u2019t her campaign use more recent event during the Clinton administration like the bombing of the USS Cole (October 12, 2000) or the US embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania (August 7, 1998)?! I%u2019ll tell you why, because the Clinton administration showed inaction on those events. Now Hillary has the audacity to use fear mongering? Hillary%u2019s now pandering to the old and scared (hence the reference to Pearl Harbor). Think about it.

OBAMA is standing in front of the camera himself for 52 seconds explaining how he will disarm the USA.
What we are talking about here IS NOT about politics and the differing
views concerning issues.....this is about the potential literal destruction of
this country by our enemies and our inability to defend ourselves against those
attacks.

OBAMA TIES TO HAMAS....(Why doesnt the News Report this!!!) Same reason they didnt report rev wright till a year later.
If Barack Obama didn%u2019t know about Abunimah%u2019s writings (and Abunimah says he did), the same as his claims of being unaware of Reverend Wright%u2019s remarks after 20 years, then Obama is not competent to be our President. Abunimah likes to lie and claim Al Awda has nothing to do with the ISM or Electronic Intifada, though plenty of evidence exists on the website the homepage at www.StoptheISM.com showing the contrary.
But Obama%u2019s association with the ISM through his church and lobbying in Chicago goes even deeper than just his past links to Al Awda and Ali Abunimah. His pastor, Jeremiah Wright, and the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, are both equally involved with the ISM. - Reply to this comment
- I have to chuckle at how naive you people are. Does anyone believe that Hamas (and Al Queda) don''t work to understand American politics? Of course they do. They know our mindset. The whole world knows our mindset. No group like Hamas would say who they really wanted to be President. Because they would be defeated. If Hamas really said that then they are dumber than dumb. It seems to me that it is more likely that it is supporters of one of the other candidates saying that they want Obama. Amazing too isn''t it. They come on with it on the eve before an important primary. You had better use your head. Think Think Think. Does it really make any sense?
