25% say the war, and 65% say the economy.

that is 90% against the neocon socioeconomic view of the world. The Republicans are toast, if the Democrat candidate, whoever it may be, can keep the debate focused on these two issues.

For all you anti Obama people, just admit it, you are really pro Bush, the lies and obfuscations are not hiding your support for failure very well at all.

Way To Go, President GW Bush! You''ve finally gotten the American focus off the unethical and unnecessary ''war'' in Iraq, by crashing the economy so hard that now, news and fear of the economy is taking Americans minds off the ''war'' a little bit.

OBAMA is standing in front of the camera himself for 52 seconds explaining how he will disarm the USA.

What we are talking about here IS NOT about politics and the differing
views concerning issues.....this is about the potential literal destruction of
this country by our enemies and our inability to defend ourselves against those
attacks.

This is a very short (52 seconds) video by Barak Obama in his own words
about how he plans to destroy our defense capabilities if elected.

that writing came from (I''m not sure of the name) a group that promotes peace between Israeli and Palestinian teenagers who come here each year to try to come together. Mine was the Sierra Leone part.

I remember once reading this little writing kind of like a poem but not quite. When will there be peace in the Middle East. When they have bled enough. When they''ve held enough dying people in their arms. When they''ve buried enough sons, daughters, brothers sisters, aunts, uncles and cousins. There will be peace when people love their children more than they love war. Unfortunately that time doesn''t seem to be here yet. Though in Sierra Leone and South Africa reconciliation was reached. Especially Sierra Leone was difficult. Warlords cut off elderly and children''s limbs and made them crawl home. Yet they found a way. Because they loved their children more.

You are living proof that your statement is true. Your no longer young and you are still biased. They may be young and inexperienced but they are not ignorant. More young people today are going to college and receiving higher education than ever before. Sure they will make mistakes. Can they do any worse than the current regime?

Trapbreak,

A couple other points. I have no illusions about Hamas and i heartily approved of Israel''s incursions into gaza earlier this year.

Even if negotiations ended up going nowhere they would require a ceasefire in order to proceed and that alone would save some lives. It''s worth it to put the onus on hamas rather than making them the Martyr in the Arab world.
