CBS News/UWIRE Poll Shows Students Paying Close Attention, Overwhelmingly Favor Ill. Senator

I''m from Europe, Netherlands to be exact.
I just would like to mention that many in Europe observing the American presidential race are absolutely amazed that there are actually still people backing the concept of a republican president. Don''t you realise that the republican party will only push America into a greater recession, an economic crisis which won''t be easy to overcome?
Haven''t you noticed how 8 years of failing economic politics has America clinging on to their 1st world country status?
In Europe, most countries are prepared for what''s going to happen once America''s economy truly implodes. I know my country is prepared, atleast.
I don''t see how you''re not worried about this at all, instead you''re giving Obama and Clinton a hard time over such trivial things as "elitist remarks" and what affiliated people have said in the past. All you should be worried about now is economic damage control, because the next 4 years are not only going to affect you and your children, but you''re going to drag down Europe too.
When the two main western blocks are in such shape, I promise you terrorism will be the least of our worries.
Kind regards,
A Speets

- How much worse can it get? ( Abmitus) asks? Alot worse. For one- a leader is someone with whom we can trust. Neiter Clinton or Obama is trustworthy. Sure, Bush has a bad rating and alot do not trust him, but McCain is not Bush- just because he is Republican. The people who who are saying that change means grouping all Republicans in one group are as bad as those who are voting for woman just because she is a ''''woman'''' or voting for a ''''black'''' just because he is ''''black'''' This is just as biased. Voting for someone who is an "adult" who can change things from ability and experiance and not falsehoods or lies-is what the USA needs, not more of a dysfunctional circus performer.

- Sure they should
This voting is for future. Their future.
So that''s is not fun, when clinton%u2019s elderly supporters are so angry and eager to keep everything like it is.
They are out of time, starting from Billary. Their time is gone. - Reply to this comment

- I am trully amazed that people have such incredible short memories. One day, one is the favorite, the next day, they''''re not. On the spin of a dime one word or comment sways the voters minds, the pendelum swings back in denial of what was once said or done. It occurs to me that the desperate people who want only a Democrat are blinded by false hope and not a qualified candidate. The people are waiting for one of them to tell them what to think, to feel, and to do- and yet they are not bright enough to think for themselves. The fact that one is black and one is a woman is a distraction to the issues neither are experianced to deal with as people. They are not credible and they certainly are not ready to lead our country -that needs change. The change a Democrat will bring will be BAD CHANGE. I only hope those who understand this can help those who don''t. Taxes will be raised, the war will not end in the time frame they say, and they have no idea what they are doing with most other issues. Scary and dangerous.
