- Let go of the hate neocrony, left wing fascists are no better than the right.
As for Ru Paul let him actually come close to winning a state (or at least poll more than 3%) and then he might get more press. What''s he doing with all that money those fanatical supporters are sending in? Be interesting to see how much he ma manages to divert to his own pockets when his campaign finally evaporates from lack of votes (not money or masses of internet postings but real live people actually voting for him!). - Reply to this comment

I hope that you''re wrong. I don''t look forward to four more years of the Clinton twins with their political baggage and how beholden they are to entrenched Washington pols. They are part of Washington''s "good ole boys" club, part of the problem, not the solution. There is nothing good about that. This Country is in the mess it is in because of the last 40 years of ineptness, arrogance, corruption, loss of world stature by our Washington pols. The old timers need to be voted out. We need fresh, young idealistic people who can muster the strength to change the partisanship that has divided the U.S. Two terms maximum, 6 years max for president. Yes, it is "change" we need, not more of the same.

- Obama Pays Parking Tickets 17 Years Late
The Associated Press
Thursday, March 8, 2007; 9:27 PM
BOSTON -- Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama got more than an education when he attended Harvard Law School in the late 1980s. He also got a healthy stack of parking tickets, most of which he never paid.
The Illinois Senator shelled out $375 in January _ two weeks before he officially launched his presidential campaign _ to finally pay for 15 outstanding parking tickets and their associated late fees.
The story was first reported Wednesday by The Somerville News.
Obama received 17 parking tickets in Cambridge between 1988 and 1991, mostly for parking in a bus stop, parking without a resident permit and failing to pay the meter, records from the Cambridge Traffic, Parking and Transportation office show.
He incurred $140 in fines and $260 in late fees in Cambridge in all, but he paid $25 for two of the tickets in February 1990.
Jen Psaki, a spokeswoman for the Obama campaign, dismissed the tickets as not relevant.
"He didn''t owe that much and what he did owe, he paid," Psaki said on Wednesday. "Many people have parking tickets and late fees. All the parking tickets and late fees were paid in full."

Let''s see,Obama supporters are college kids 18 to 25.Will you base your political fate on college boys and girls? Why if they don''t show up?
Keep your money;those checks you send to the Obama campaign are spent for ads and end up in the media''s hands.
I''ll give you a hint about the person who will win the nomination-she wears a skirt. - Reply to this comment
- So, where is your coverage of Ron Paul and the movement he''s engendered? The public has voted him first among Republicans with their wallets. He''s the only candidate to have a grassroots campaign (Ron Paul didn''t come up with the Blimp or Guy Fawkes Day, all he''s done is to be consistent in his positions, and, oh yes, he demonstrated that McCain has little understanding of our Federal Economic Systems). Ron Paul is also the only candidate since Steve Forbes to announce a simple, coherent way to get the Federal Budget in balance. What are you afraid of? Why don''t you give him equal coverage?

- excoachken, you must be a middle school coach and like the drama of the Clinton White House.
BTW, that was a Republican Congress that stopped the government (twice) until Bubba agreed to balanced budgets. - Reply to this comment
- According to all the polls, the #1 issue is the economy. According to Bob Brinker, Conservative radio investment adviser, "While Bill Clinton was President, we had eight consecutive years of economic growth. It never happened before in American history." If the economy is your concern, there is nobody better to lead us than a Clinton!

- McVet, your 935 lies were paid for by George Soros and, because of that, the report has been placed in doubt as to its total validity by media and academics.
The issue rests upon "lies" as the intelligence developed during Clinton''s terms and Bush''s terms were the same.
''Sides, Hillary said it was true. - Reply to this comment

- It isn''''t an illegal war. It was authorized by congress. the first responsibility of the govt is to defend and protect the people not insure that they have tax payer paid for health care.
Secondly where doe you intend to get the hundreds of billions in money to provide this care.
thirdly we are going into a recession how do you think a new tax would effect the economy.

Where have you been living?? In a CAVE? Go to Public Integrity''s Site, check out the 935 LIES told by the Bush Administration to start the War in Iraq!! Last time I checked THAT would make the War ILLIGAL... LYING to start war''s usually are.
As far as Health Care is concerned the Fascist had YEARS to fix the situation, they have only made it worse. TODAY less people are covered by our health care system than at anytime since the Great Depression. We pay MORE per Capita than ANY nation on the planet and get less for that money.
When the Fascist and Sir Lies-A-Lot took office they were handed a Government with a Balanced Budget AND a Surplus. There is NO excuse for being in the condition we find ourselves in.
Sorry you freaks have NOT earned the right to lead ANYONE and your scare tactics aren''t going to work for you after the MOUNTAIN of failures you have given this nation. Sieg Heil Bush!! - Reply to this comment
- We voted for change and Obama is the only one who can make that change happen.
Do you want four more years of the Clinton twins?
I don''t. - Reply to this comment
- Picture the cover of Prevention (Health) Magazine with Obama on it-- a cigarette dangling from his mouth. He does smoke-- and a lot of people don''t yet know. What will the Republicans do with that???
His health "program" is predicated, as he says repeatedly, on "PREVENTION"!
Incidentally-- that "prevention" Obama speaks of means you will have to go to the doctor when you feel fine--to see if the doctor can find some way to make money...
Hillary Clinton has been at this--and can do it with more experience and less platitudes and oversimple thinking. - Reply to this comment
- libra127 gotta be joking!! Let Hillary be president for the first 8 years with Obama as VP,and then he cna "reign" for the next 8. LOL! First indications are that she CANNOT beat any republican, and even if she had a first term, she would have polarized the nation so much that they would be willing to vote for the Pied Piper next round. Frankly, let us be serious and see who can win against the republicans rather than pick Hillary who will definitely ensure that we get a republican next.

- Most civilized nations in this world require/provide comprehensive healthcare to their citizens. Why is it so hard to give a citizen a good education and healthcare but so easy to give them a gun and an illegal war?

Fourthly Rationing is one way that social insurance systems in europe and canada provide the lower cost for the insurance leaving the govt rather than the health insurance plan or the doctor or yourself decide on the care you need.
It seemed one of the greatest objections by americans to hmo''s was that an insurance co decided their care rather than the doctor. Instead it will be one insurance co the govt that has the final say. - Reply to this comment
