McCain Has Big Lead Among Republicans; Also, Most Americans Think Economy Is In Recession
- You do not have to agree with the following--but it bears repeating for consideration today:
Obama is promoting his primary ingredent in his health plan as "prevention"--but he smokes cigarettes!
Can you imagine a photo of him on Prevention Magazine''s cover, with a cigarette dangling from his mouth? I have seen such a photo on You Tube --so it could happen. The Republicans WANT Obama. They want a straw-man they can allow to be built up so they can knock him down in the polls.
Additionally--"prevention" as he puts it means you would have to report to a doctor when you feel fine--so the "medical authorities" can do a fishing expedition...
He needs the experience that Hillary already has.
Let him be Vice President--he''''''''s only 46!!!
This isn''t 1960!
We don''''t need to help elect another Republican President--because we can''''t get this straight IN TIME (NOW). - Reply to this comment

- dditionally, saying that more "diverse" is automatically superior is not supportable.

One accomplishes more when he/she uniters fewer groups, is that your logic? - Reply to this comment
- By the way, you mean "look at the famous people" because you can''''t know who is really supporting who-- that is what the primaries are for!
So that us regular folks who aren''''t DeNiro can hopefully have a say in REALITY.

Now you''re extrapolating. That is not what I said.
What I was referring to were not only endorsements but pre-election polls, and exit polls.
Obama unites a more diverse group than Hillary.

It''s simply the converse of a "master race" point of view.
Neither polar opposite is consequentially applicable to any outcome politically-- or spiritually. - Reply to this comment

- If it were that ridiculiously simple (and I mean that in a derogatory fashion) we wouldn''''t need elections!!!
"Just look??????"

- Hillary is much better connected to actually do stuff...period.

She also alienates a lot of people which makes uniting folks a bigger challenge for her.

- Yes--43-- and folks like Alvin Toffler, point out that this is most assuridly not 1961.

Considering that he himself and his congretation are Christian, your accusations of his being Muslim are pure fabrication. Period.
You are obviously just a xenophobe. - Reply to this comment
- Meanwhile, conservative commentator Ann Coulter last week said she would support Democratic contender Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York over McCain.
"If he''s our candidate, then Hillary is going to be our girl, because she''s more conservative than he is," Coulter said on Fox''s "Hannity and Colmes." "I think she would be stronger on the war on terrorism."
"John McCain is not only bad for Republicanism, which he definitely is -- he is bad for the country," she said.

How could any Independent vote for someone who has Ann Coulter''s admiration, much less a Dem? - Reply to this comment

- Fellow patriot, as I said before both candidates voted for the Treason Act (Patriot), the Torture Act (Military Commissions), and the abolition of Habeas corpus, and will not acknowledge their error or pledge to remedy it.
So I''m curious as to how any endorsements, by anyone, could dissuade you from this reality.
I ask only because I know you to be a long time defender of our Constitution, and advocate of prosecuting Bush''''s crimes against it.
Are they no longer crimes if Democrats do, or allow, them?

-Searing, I see!
-The huge job waiting for such candidate (Democrat, I wish it''s Obama) who needs at least a couple of years (if not 3) in order to repair what has been destroyed by this vile-spirited Repukons administration.
- This street-inspired politician, is not insensitive to MLK and other civil-rightists achievements. He himself could have been a target to the vile-action of such constitution rights-ectomy (PatriotAct-Application)
-OMG!. And you think he''ll just sit there watching what this shameful constitution amendment is about to do, unaccountably, to basic individual rights?
-I agree with you a first step an elect should be, is to repair the constitution. First thing a surgeon facing a bleeding artery is to stop it immediately. Constitution needs to be mended immediately. - Reply to this comment

- Patriot radiob just gave all of us who supported John Edwards, and all Americans who support the restoration of our Constitution, a viable alternative to vote for Tuesday.
He has offered the name of his loyal canine companion, Drew Shelt, as a write in vote of common protest.
A strong alternate write in vote has often sent a potent message to the political elite, and the message is much more effective if everyone writes in the same name, especially if it''s for some being or thing that could not possibly win.
And this is far more effective than not voting at all.
So let all those Americans who will stand for nothing less than the immediate and unconditional restoration of our Constitution protest by writing in Drew Shelt tomorrow.
And if neither party has awoken by election day we should write him in for President.
